Honestly, the game creator is completely warranted to that money.

If the creator wanted money so bad then why is this game not
available to download at itch.io? Why did the creator put a
discount on the steam game?

I mean something can be a mistake and accidental and still be a crime.

like image you're driving and you end up hitting a kid walking in the road.

Most children you can't see while they're walking, but it'd still be a crime even if it was an accident.

That crime is vehicular manslaughter, if the kid died

Nonetheless, not keeping a promise is not a crime, unless a part of a legal contract.

in which there was never promise in a legal contract for the creator to give us a remake for free

I don't think dudes a horrible person and definitely is just someone who made a mistake, but from what I know money isn't the issue, atleast for me. The issue I'm having is that ive already paid for a game that is now not gonna be updated and added to that there is a remake that the creator previously promised to be allowed to people "free of charge" to people who had already bought the game when released to steam.

In my mind of course people are gonna be upset but honestly not a reason people should use to decide to target nachosama. Things happened how they did and just because nachosamas words now don't align with what they've said in the past doesn't mean they should be subject to hate. Plans change so people need to grow up and accept that the steam version is a different game and if they want it they're gonna have to buy it

I just question if its another game then why is this game not buyable? Its kind of forcing others to buy the remake right? And not giving them a choice really

I think people are having issues because before you have talked about a steam version and how you would give it to people "free of cost," because of that whether the steam game is a remake or not doesn't matter to the majority. Which sucks but sometimes things end like that people are gonna complain about one thing or another

Well, first of all, yeah actually it looks like the steam version was promised for free.

But I understand that the creator was not able to give out the key to everyone

Which is why people are asking for a refund because the key was promised and now because that is no longer true people want their money back.                                                      Plus considering not everyone can get a refund it actually is unfair.

While I understand the creator has said that they're basically different games. They do not seem that way to a lot of people. Yes there are differences between both, GUI wise, Feature wise, and more, but they're both being called by the same name which is why a lot of people are going to be thinking they're the same game.

Not only that but the creator claiming that the itch.io is a complete version but then also making impossible to buy it here doesn't make sense.

If this version is a different game then why isn't it available anymore but the steam version is?
