I don't have a solution, but I'm having the same problem, also on Mac. It moves slowly/jerkily when I try to look around on any graphics setting higher than "low," and no combinations I've tried actually give me the working computer screen. It'll even show me where the recycling bin and database are if I hover over them, but since nothing is visible on the screen, clicking on them does nothing for me. Did you ever find a fix?

I’m really enjoying this game! I especially appreciate how the descriptions of things are precise/detailed. I can always clearly picture what I’m supposed to be making choices about, which I’m aware doesn’t necessarily sound like high praise, but I mean it to be. That’s hard to do! Anyway, I was wondering if there’s a way to make the font size larger. Being able to switch the fonts helps but it’s still a little bit of a strain for me.

This game looks super cool, but for some reason I can't get it to run on Mac? I followed the directions on the download page and told it to open it even though it's "from an unknown developer," but it still doesn't open, it just says it will and then sits there closed. Any idea why not? Could it be a Mojave/Catalina update issue?
