Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game and write such a detailed review! It honestly means a lot to me.
I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed it and even spent over 20 minutes playing. Reading comments like yours is exactly why I wanted to release the demo this early.
Thanks for pointing out all the bugs as well! I'll definitely look into the fullscreen issue, the music slider, and the stretch settings in Godot. Those are things I probably wouldn't have caught on my own xD.
I also completely agree about adding more mechanics and items. That's actually one of my main goals. Right now I'm focusing on expanding the gameplay so every run feels a bit more unique, and I'm constantly trying to improve the game with every update.
UI is probably one of the things I struggle with the most, so I really appreciate your comments about the presentation. The main menu was honestly something I put together just so I could finally get the game out there and start receiving feedback exactly like this. It's much easier to know what to improve once other people get their hands on it.
I also love your ideas about the slime spawn animation and the water shader. Small details like that can make a huge difference, and I'll definitely keep them in mind.
Thanks again for taking the time to help me out. Feedback like this is incredibly motivating and genuinely helps me make MAD DINO better. I hope you'll come back and try it again after a few updates! :D
