Have you finished it since then? :D

Hello there! Thank you for playing!

[SPOILERS]

The left left thing is a red herring, a misdirection for the player, but a useful information for another character.

Focus on the second part of the text: the secret of the third entrance. If you follow this route, you will find the answer to the timechanger stone's first question. (What day is it today?)

[/SPOILERS]

Let me know if you need more help!

Nice animations! I used your character and a white version of it as a murder victim's ghost in my game (Book of Death).

Here is some feedback:

> there is too much empty space around the graphics, so the animation frames become pretty big

> it would be very cool if the characters full body moved during the wind animations!

> I really liked the death animation!

Thanks a lot for making this available for free!

I used an eye as a UI element in my game. Thank you!

This is one of my favorites. Mystical, strange and it fills me with a sense of wonder.

It's not a problem! Thank you for playing! Please don't forget to rate the game!

Haha, nice XD

Did you finish it? :D

Thank you for your kind words! Please don't forget to rate the game after you finish it!

Hi!

Here is a little guide for that:

[SPOILERS]

1.) You need the clue that's with the skeleton character. But you can't access it right away, you have to do something first: "anything protected by a living skull ... is inaccessible"

2.) The skeleton's name can be found in the

"Enemies of the empire" text.

3.) If you follow this route, you will find the answer to the timechanger stone's first question. (What day is it today?)

Thank you for playing!

Lovely animations! I used this as a side character and the hooded protagonist as the player character in my game prototype:  Book of Death: The King must die.

I made a white, ghost version of the hooded character. Modifications are listen in the credits, as required by the license documentation.

Thank you!

I really like your animations! I used this and the Dark Knight character in my game prototype (Book of Death) as side characters.

Good luck with your projects!

Yes, I agree. One of the biggest problems right now is the UI and controls. I'm going to rework it in the full version.

Thank you very much for the review!

Hello there!

No, not really. Unless you count cutscenes leading to the player's death as endings. Two lesser-known game over scenarios are:
1.) letting the monsters win at the battle of Wasatou (summoner has to stay alive)

2.) trying to kill the High Brother before killing the King
Thank you for playing! If it's not a problem, please leave a rating for the game!

Yes, a “fast kill” option definitely needs to be added to the full game. This would encourage players to experiment with the different choices. That would also allow players to have fast and crazy killing sprees, just like in Death Note. XD
The attack of the "eye" caused a lot of trouble for other players too. Many of them solved the situation with a screenshot. :D The intended solution is to open the skeleton's note and switch back and forth between the book and the vision with [Ctrl]. The skeleton's note will remain open at the vision screen, and the eye attack will always reset. But I understand, this solution is kinda unintuitive.
Thank you for playing!

You too!

I  successfully donated to you. It isn't much, but I hope it keeps you motivated.

Thank you for your music tracks!

˙ᵕ˙

Hello there!

The environment reminds me of the game Pentiment. Have you played it? I highly recommend it.

I think that the game has a promising premise. I love mystery games, I am also working on a detective puzzle.

The music is excellent and I have no problem with the way the game looks. The German dub finde ich sehr gut!

Some issues I found: (you are probably aware of them)

– the dub sometimes ends with a loud noise (for example when you interact with the table)
– the walking/running animations are not properly looped
– I think it's a good practice in modern point and click games to highlight every interactable object

I would like to see more of it.

Good luck with your project!

Hey everyone!

I have a typing deduction game (like Golden Idol games, Obra Dinn) prototype, with a  "Death Note" mechanic: Book of Death: The King must die.  You piece together character names from documents and dialogues in a medieval fantasy world. If you know the names of the characters, you can kill them to reveal more clues/progress the story. You will learn new rules about the death book during your gameplay.

The first half of the game: As a devoted member from the Order of Fate Enforcers you are on a sacred mission to kill a beloved king in a western empire. However, you will need the king’s full name first…

The second half of the game: Your master has been sentenced to death. He must survive at all costs. A ghost promises to reveal a secret rule about your death book if you solve his murder. You hope that learning the secret will somehow help you save your master.

It has 2-3 hours of gameplay.

Before going fully public, I wish to get answers to the following questions:
1.) Did you reach the end? (When credits roll.) If not, where did you give up?
2.) Is the game too complicated, exhausting? Should it be simpler?
3.) Can you get used to the interface (UI) and controls, or was it uncomfortable throughout?
4.) What do you think about the fonts? Are they too hard to read?
5.) Did you encounter any bugs?
6.) Was the English translation weird sometimes?
7.) Am I cooked? Am I doomed to work 12 hours shift in a factory for $9,600 yearly salary?

You can play it in your browser:
– Opera, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge works
– Firefox does not work
– in other browsers it wasn't tested

Thank you for your time!

I tried to donate, but I got an error message: "Stripe doesn't currently support application fees for platforms in US with connected accounts in BR."

:(

As far as I know, there’s no simple solution to this. I will try to donate you at another time with a paypal account.

You make really great soundtracks!  I already used a lot of your CC0 musics in my upcoming game prototype.

I want to donate, but  I don't have a paypal. Can you please enable paying with card?
