I'm pretty happy with my results overall. This was my first jam, I've only been doing game dev for about 6 months and I only had a day to build my game. So I'm actually pretty amazed how well it did.

It also did a good job of showing me where my weak spots are so I can get better at them.

So overall a bit sad fun was my lowest score but happy for the knowledge and overall success.

I probably wouldn't say this to most of the entries, but don't take the ratings too seriously. Your game is a niche game so it's going to be harder to get an accurate read from the general public.

This game has potential. I can think of at least three people I'd share it with. It reminds me of Epistory but haunted instead of dreamworld. Because it's a typing game it won't appeal to as many people. That doesn't change that it is a good game.

Do you get to see the ratings on your own game even if it's not in the top once the jam ends?

Thank you so much for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'm glad the hints helped! I was worried the game would be too hard without them but also worried that it would be too easy with them. So I'm glad they were useful

Thank you for playing my game!

Thank you! Yeah I need to work on the controls

Thank you for playing my game and your feedback! Yeah that level had too many connections and not enough hot keys. So I only had the connection going one way from the center. I think that could be a nice escalation of difficulty but it needs to be better communicated if I decide to keep it

Thank you for your feedback! It wasn't because of bad eye sight the contrast on the letters to the backdrop is too narrow. I'll darken the letter colors for the next iteration.

Thank you for your feedback! Yeah apparently this kind of game usually uses point and click. I'm playing around with that for the next version.

Thank you for playing my game! Yeah it would have been nice if I could have done the whole thing without AI. I've only been doing this for 6 months so I decided to get good at game loop before I started learning music and art.

This is one of the most polished games I've played so far. Even better it was a lot of fun and had a good story. Well done!

I really liked the combat system. The combination of Undertale and DND was a nice mix. Y'all did a good job with the controls too. When I read the instructions I was like oh no this is going to be complicated. But once I started playing they made perfect sense and I found myself naturally using them without even thinking about it.

I loved the cutscenes they really helped in building up the gameplay. I also really liked the gameplay. Watching my magnet slowly get bigger in the backdrop of a farm was a lot of fun.

This was really cute! I love how getting multiple people touching the same strip of grass led to connection. What a delightful interpretation of the theme

The dog snuck up on me and I actually scream out loud :D. The music did a good job of queuing it though. This whole game was really well put together from the story to the music and motion. Well done.

Well I really stick at typing. But this would be a fun game to practice with. I like that typing letters for one word can help build up another word.  It's a really cool idea and kudos on doing all the art yourself! I'm terrible at art so I always admire people who are good at it

That was pretty cool, I like the way you need to track and juggle your resources in order to manage things. One thing I ran into, I'm not sure if it was a bug of not. Sometimes I couldn't grab the plug. It would get disconnected and I couldn't pick it up again with my mouse. Not sure what was happening there

Thank you so much!

Thank you for playing my game, and for letting me know about that bug!

I loved that finishing a level got the "wow" sound. And that you could link across a lot of things to get them all. I never quite figured out what the bombs were for though

Thank you!

This game was awesome! I really enjoyed solving the puzzles and the victory music at the end was very gratifying

Thank you so much!

Thank you!

This was really great. I liked the dialogue. I did have a bit of trouble with the sound. I turned my speakers all the way to max and I still could barely hear it.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Yeah I'll need to add more guidance for moves the player can take if I turn this into a full release for sure. I'm so glad you liked it :)

Thank you!

Thank you so much for checking it out!

This had a really cool vibe to it. I liked the intro announcement it was clever and ominous. I wish there was a way to skip it for replays though. I didn't really get what I was supposed to be doing the first time and having to relisten to the announcement I'd just heard was a little frustrating.

It was really amazing seeing all the hand modeled assets! Especially the mouse it was very cute. And I gave myself a bit of a jump scare when I noticed the cat sleeping on the bed :D

I loved the intro, it was so funny. And the dialogue throughout the game was good to.

I think I might have found a bug. I rolled Jimmy all the way to the right on the map and then I couldn't move him anymore and had to reload the game.

You managed to capture the soul crushing pain of job hunting in a clever and funny way. Good job

This is a nice parkour game. I really like the visuals of the firefly lantern and fire, they're really well done.

On ttop of everything crazyhoundgamedesign said I find it easier to make game jam games because the expectation of size is different. If I have a small idea that I think would be fun to play I can build it and not have to worry about how to keep it fun for at least 2 hours of gameplay.

Being able to attach and detach different things is really clever it allows for a lot more versatility in the puzzles you can make. I hope this becomes a full game if y'all are still having fun making it.

Thank you! I'm glad it was a good experience. The reason I'm settled on this for my game is because I need something to motivate me while I learn Chinese :D

Thank you so much! I'm glad it was able to keep your attention to the end and that the vibe I was going for came through.

This was really nice. I liked the dazzle you put on for the success. The music was a great choice too. I did have a bit of a hard time reading the pixel leveling but overall this was awesome!
