If you don't have a mouse with a middle button, you can also use the 0 key on the numpad. We're considering how to handle customizing the controls, and maybe adding proper keyboard controls, in the future.

I, at least, hadn't encountered quite this sort of thing before, so it was novel! It's well put-together, though as noted by a previous commenter, powerups did look similar to an enemy. Impressive work for just one month! :o

Thanks! It's a type of puzzle that we came up with for the Jam :)

Nice sprites! I also enjoyed the choice of stumbling sound effect. Also beat it on the first try. It felt quite forgiving!

Thank you for playing, and for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed! :D
At the main menu, you will find a "Help" option, which has an explanation of the rules! You may even find a few mechanics in there that you didn't pick up on before.

Wow, we didn't expect anyone to get that far in! Nice strategizing. We'll be experimenting with the mechanics a bit more, after some cooling down from the jam, but of course it's impossible to predict how significant any changes will be. We'll see about fullscreen, but other features are currently taking priority.
As for seeing more of Dr. Brainlicker herself, she might get a full-body sprite for the Help section, eventually, maybe. There are currently no plans for her outside of the game she was created for, but who's to say?
Thank you for playing, and for all of this juicy feedback!

An interesting idea! I could have been missing something, but it seemed that you'd need rather a lot of wins, and the frequency of draws was remarkably high, so I did just quit, after a while. Like a previous commenter, I didn't feel like there was quite enough information to make use of the dealer's revealed roll, as well. Perhaps a bit more information, or different information, to enable more meaningful strategizing, would help!

Solid stuff, and it's nice to see a multimedia Twine game. Certain details of the scenario were certainly a surprise! And of course, the spirals are pretty. You could say this game is... a tight package? :p

Cool stuff! Enjoyable art, and the banter adds nicely to the atmosphere. Perhaps the gameplay could use some retooling, but as it is, it does feel remarkably fitting, conceptually!

Me too.

Cool to see! Feels like there's been a bit of a hypercard resurgence lately.
For anyone who might have been wondering, sadly, https://hcsimulator.com/ doesn't appear to be able to run this one correctly.
