Thanks for trying it! I need to put in a demo round, but in short, the four "buckets" at the bottom of the screen are the piles for each suit. Your job is to stack the cards in order lowest to highest or highest to lowest.

Let's use spades as an example. At the start of the game, you can select any spade and that will start the bucket. Looking at the "Refine" section of the bucket will tell you which two cards are 1 lower and 1 higher than the card you selected. Those are the two targets to refine next.

I usually start with the "2"s for each suit.  and work my way up. However, as you progress thru each file, more decks are added. So, pay attention to the suits as you hover your mouse over each one.

My partner and I were watching the premiere episode of Severance Season 2. We were, like most viewers, wondering what Macrodata Refinement actually is. (If you haven't watched the show, no worries there are no spoilers here).  I mentioned off-handedly that the MDR interface would make a cool variant of solitaire. She looked at me and said how much can you get done by 3pm? The rest is history.

The game is like solitaire: You must stack the suits. However, unlike solitaire, you can actually see the PIP values of all cards. You mouse over each number/letter to see which suits it belongs to.  Also, you play with multiple decks... and its timed. If you need a quick distraction or you love solitaire, (Or both) then please check out Severed Solitaire.

The game is free, but if really like it, you can buy me a coffee via the donation page.  Gook Luck MDR!
