Hey Mando,

The base is good, but there are several improvement points:

  • The game is really slow
  • Clicking bloons to spawn is cumbersome
  • There is no progression currently, you have unlimited money and killing bloons does not create income
  • Game does not end when you reach 0 health, it goes negative

But other then that it was fun to play, Goodluck with the development

Thanks for the feedback! I am currently working on a map system like on rogue tower, the mute/disable buttons will be implemented with that update. Art will be updated in a month or 2.

Hi, this is my first game as a solo indie dev, and after 2 months of development, I'm ready to share this early demo with the community.

What is Pixel Defense? A fast-paced Roguelike Tower Defense game inspired by Rogue Tower and Brotato. Unlike traditional tower defense games where progression is predictable, every run in Pixel Defense offers fresh challenges and unpredictable tower/upgrade combinations.


Key Features:

  • Strategic Preparation: Place and upgrade towers with permanent positioning (undo available until next placement)
  • Dynamic Shopping: Towers and Upgrades are randomized with a shop system like in Brotato
  • Roguelike Progression: No two runs are the same!

About this Demo: This is an early build focusing on core gameplay mechanics. Art and music are temporary placeholders that will be polished as development continues. I'm releasing now to start building a community and gather valuable player insights.
