Saw an update, got all excited, then realised it is not new content. I had v0.7.1, now there appears to be v0.7.2 but I have no idea what this adds/removes… is it a patch release with bug fixes or something?

Mirror is working but it is even slower… I have 500Mb fibre to my house and the mirror link is running at less than 1MB/s download (roughly 800KB/s right now), I usually get over 50MB/s.

I tried Mega again which usually is fine for me where I get over 35MB/s but it is still stalling, when it is downloading before it errors it is around 2.8MB/s.

NOTE: I’ve checked my internet connection, speed tests all reporting normal speeds.

Do you have a mirror download link (PC Version)? Mega is being very slow and won’t download more than 1GB/4.57GB. I’ve tried 7 times and cannot get it to download.

8th time, won’t go above 900MB/4.57GB.

Now it’s showing an error: “Temporary error, retrying.” in red text but the retry never starts.

Given Alex’s previous games… doubt count on it.

I played Escape: Forced Overtime, really liked that but was always left thinking, “instead of being a challenge after challenge based game, why couldn’t it have had a story since the setting of an office theft was quite an easy subject to work with!”.

This game feels more of the same. I love the graphics, it has solid mechanics but this time around, ghosts? I mean really! I am not a fan of this theme at all.

Alex, you are clearly very talented at these kind of games, please consider making the next one some kind of story based rpg.

Chapter 7… Yay! :D

According to the official, dis cord no. Just taking a long time between updates. Seems to be a common thing for Visual Novel developers, not exactly sure why personally as I’ve never created one but I would assume it is related to animation & rendering of scenes. If something goes wrong, it’s a stop/start again and the rendering times can be long.

Very odd. I’ve never had any issues with this game, boots up first time, no lighting/texture issues as others have reported. I’m using AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and nVidia 40xx Series GPU.

Must be your computer, I’ve not had any issues with any version.

I’m hoping he’s got some kind of special extra update just for us Itch purchasers which is why he’s taking longer than the 10 days!

I bought the game on Itch to support you, seems a little unfair I have to wait 2 weeks longer than a Subscribestar member.

RE: ‘mild taboo mode’ - that’s great to hear, a lot of game devs wouldn’t bother as they would say something like “this is my vision, if you don’t like it, don’t play it” but having both options in makes for a far better experience and makes the game potentially appeal to a wider audience.

I have a few of these Visual Novels but I have to say, and I’m not just being a kiss ass, that Summer Scent is one of, if not, the best written ones and most polished of them all.

Keep up the great work, really looking forward to the next version.

Also, can I just praise you for the ‘mild’ mode of the Taboo setting, I am not into the whole incest porn vibe/trend but non-blood related siblings as in the mild mode ticks a lot of boxes for me to play without feeling uncomfortable.

Steam isn’t showing me v1.2.3 update, it suggests latest version is v1.2.2?

Indeed, I am a little annoyed also since I paid for this game and we’ve had no updates in a long time. To see a new game being developed & launched is a bit of a slap in the face.

So when you say “Day 6 will contain 2 new scenes” does this mean I need to go back and replay the game to see the new scenes or do you mean these are new scenes added to extend the game at the point it has ended currently (to further the story)?

Would have preferred you put out quicker updates for The Awakening instead of diverting time and effort into another project instead of finishing The Awakening first (which I have paid for). Sorry but I won’t be playing this.
