I liked the dialogue and character portraits! I also liked the snowball pushing puzzle, I will never not pop off on a RPGMaker pushing puzzle :P

The custom sprites and music were really good. I also liked the combat, interactions like being able to put out the canon are always nice. I definitely wish it was longer, but what's there so far is fun!

I really liked the way that New Game + was incorporated into the story and the subtle changes like dialogue/map color were very cool. I found that I could force the enemies to face me and more consistently hit them at the same time by pressing escape and enter together. I would have loved more enemy types, but it was still pretty fun.

I liked the custom menus and UI, and the rock paper scissors gameplay was very unique. The twist at the ending was fun as well. I ran into a bug that just kept automatically making me play scissors, but luckily I still got the win :P

Thanks for the feedback! I'm certainly working on pacing in the full version (including having some "open world/walk around" style segments). With combat balancing, do you think it leans too hard or too easy?

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I'm definitely a fan of turn based combat, so I knew I wanted it to be a big focus for the game :)

Thank you for the feedback! In future updates I certainly want to make the tutorial clearer to better explain stats/mechanics ;) 

I also want to make rematch levels always available from a hub world after completing the stage in the full game, but that was very much out of scope for the demo. I'm glad you liked it!
