I gotchu bro

Yeah currently theres no way to wipe the save, but I’m planning on having a titlescreen with 3 saveslots that you can then delete if you want. The game saves using IndexedDB, so it is technically possible to delete the savedata from your files, but I couldn’t figure out how, but you could try if you really need to wipe your save.

Just launched the saving update. check it out

I’m working on a pretty big update right now actually. I plan to release it once the jam is over. It adds a lot more content and polish, the main feature being a proper save system so your progress caries over between closing the game. To address your feedback I’ve added a scanner component that you can put rocks into which tells you what they are and other info about it. Right now the scanner is directly attached to the selling funnel, so you see what you are selling as you sell it, but later it will be its own building that you can use freely.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing. I definitely could’ve expanded the tutorial to teach that you need to drop rocks of a certain material type into the little funnel machines in front of the warehouse and store to earn money.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have any suggestions for a different penalty for selling the wrong items? I’m planning on adding a machine you can use to scan pebbles before you sell them that tells you what it is, the weight, value, etc. But do you think the penalty for selling something wrong should be reduced, or should it be something different entirely?

Damn thanks so much for playing. I’m glad you enjoyed and were even able to win the game. None of my playtest friends were even able to get to 1000$, so I honestly doubted someone would be able to reach retirement. If you’re interested, I’m planning on releasing a big update once the jam is over adding more content and a save system.

Definitely the most polished game i’ve seen in the jam by a mile. The pixelart is dynamic and crisp, and the gameplay and enemy attack patterns blend seamlessly with their sprites and movement. The concept is really great, though I found myself randomly spamming the balls instead of trying to line up cool trickshots as it just felt too hard. I feel like maybe there could have been more ways to force the player to try to make cool trickshots, but obviously what is already in the game is more than impressive for a short jam. Overall a solid concept with incredible execution

Pretty chill game. Its simple but works quite well, even though the scaling gets kind of over the top at the end. Ended up enjoying it a fair bit.

Thank you. Make sure to check it out once the jam’s over. I’ve added a lot more since the last build

This is my second 7DRL and I've been developing games for around 2 years. Looking for a team or anyone open to work together, ideally someone who has also worked on a few games before this and knows what they're doing. Looking to make something really cool with an experienced group of people.

I'm mostly a programmer but have been doing the art and sound effects for my games myself for a while. I can do art myself but usually just use sound libraries for sfx and music, though I could take those up if necessary ( I have very limited experience doing foley and using FL Studio)

Should be fixed now

It should be working right now. lmk if its still a problem

neat. a bit boring but cool concept. It takes too long to die imo i was able to sit in the darkness for like a minute without doing anything

Really solid. Love the gameplay, art and physics. Overall really well done. It would be cool if there was an alternate gamemode where it got faster, as I find myself usually staying at the same speed im comfortable with the whole time, but still a very good game overall.

Highest Score: 110

Graphics are very fluid, but the gameplay is a bit lacking. You only have control over movement, and it can be a bit annoying to start dashing at the wrong time

A top down shooter with horror and survival elements. Undergrowth takes inspiration from games like SAS 4 and Hotline Miami to deliver a difficult and skillful shooter.

The year is 2144. Deep within the bowels of the evil Biopath Industries, a wailing can be heard. The Root, the result of years of failed experiments and mistreatment, has woken up. It spreads its tendrils as humanity falls prey to the Vinerot, a disease that turns all who touch it into violent monsters! You are the last of a failing military operation, immune to the Vinerot for unknown reasons, and have finally made it into the depths of the facility. It’s time to end this blight on the world, but the hardest challenge is still to come.

This game would be good but the fact that you die when destroying a piece with another piece behind it really completely ruins the experience. If folly shields are a thing i don't understand why that isn't. So for now, this game is really unfun to play.
