There was a text-based game I loved that you could play on browser, it was still in WIP state. The game's story revolved around being forced to watch your family get killed after your practically unknown older sister murdered her ex-fiancés wife with poison. Your twin ends up being stabbed by debris after your character goes for their favorite toy then looks for your older brother telling you to move on; you then find corpses and the invading king mutilating your dead parents giving you choices to be a coward, grab a sword and attack or have a panic attack. Your character gets spared because a knight named Lancelot stops the king from killing you as a boy/girl based on your character creation and the king decides to try and find your sister by forcing you to become his consort after your imprisoned. Part of the lore in the game was based around all the royal dynasties being related to gods and being strongly connected to magic until the gods left the world but promised to return thus weaking magic until it was incredibly rare. Your childhood friends are a female mage/alchemist their daughter, sir Lancerlot's daughter and later on you meet a princess from a formerly allied nation. Potentially the prince could be befriended, you can plant a wedge in-between him and the king by telling the prince about how his father killed your whole family. The end of the completed content ended at a hunting gathering when you grow up into a teenager after selecting talents and a mythical beast appears where the prince kills it and it forces your character into an episode of PTSD because he looks like your family's killer. If anyone knows please tell me the name I've spent three days looking for this game and it's driving me insane, thanks.
