Great demo! I thoroughly enjoyed my short playthrough of it and I can't wait for more to come in the future. I'm interested to see what the deal is with Stanley and his motives... he seems to be interested in MC but he's also very secretive.
We got a small interaction segment in the game, so I was wondering if you were going to implement more interactable mechanics in the future development? It'd be super cool, no pressure though!
Also just this last thing I noticed while playing, when transitioning through the scenes (eg: day to night) it lags a bit behind, or rather there's an awkward pause that lasts a little too long before the next scene or dialogue plays out. It's not game breaking or anything like that, but it was a bit slow to get through.

Finally got around to playing shift 2 and wow, like, wow. Dude you really put your whole ussy into this update. I literally can't form the right words to organize my thoughts so I'll just say this, I really LOVE the direction you're going with this. There's so much to unpack here and I can't wait for more shifts to release so we can figure out more of the PC's past. I especially like the little dog allegory from the old man, like damn we're getting snippets of lore here okay.
I also just finished Lane's progression route and wow dude I'm so invested. Like I would have never expected to get attached to him but here we are. I can't stand people like him but at the same time, he has this really magnetic aura about him that draws me in. He's annoying but you can't help but feel bad for the guy sometimes (still wanna give him a good ol' punch/slap tho).
The part where PC mentions something about Lane not bleeding for anyone else but them during the confrontation with Biker Boy really made me sit up cause like, Lane actually cares?? But being completely honest, I also get the feeling that he was mostly doing it for himself, cause despite being told to stop, he didn't back down and even continued the dick measuring contest with Biker Boy until the blackout, and that's when he finally stopped to pay attention to the PC who was spiraling in the dark.
I find it very interesting that these two love interests, despite their affections for the PC, can only really focus on themselves (selfishness?) Like, Biker Boy doesn't even give a damn if PC actually feels the same way, he'll just do whatever he thinks he needs to do in order to get what he wants (the PC). Lane is too much of a pussy to actually say what he wants, and disguises his feelings through sarcasm and audacity when in reality he might be as down bad for the PC, though not in a deranged way like Biker Boy. He chooses to wait for the PC to chase after him (in some way, like how he chooses to be early to work if you respond to him in either of his text messages) and if you don't then he won't pull through.
Ahh I love psychoanalyzing the characters dude there's so much to unpack. I didn't forget about Amelia too, like what's up with her? I'm sensing an angsty lesbian/bisexual...
Overall I love this game and your writing pls keep doing what you're doing <3
Jim knows a lot of things. WHAT DOES HE KNOW THAT I DON'T
Σ(°ロ°) Anyways, day 2 was perfect as we got to learn a bit more of the mysterious entity hunting our PC. Something about the moon, wolves, and hares/bunny symbolisms... Is Jim merely a lesser version of the thing watching us? An extension perhaps? Or something more? We shall see. Thank you for your hard work! <3
Great demo! I hope we can uncover more about Soren in the future. He's totally my type in both personality and looks, like, total eye candy for a peace-loving girlie like me lol (respectfully I am looking at his chest). Very sad that I can't bond with princess in the start but hopefully we'll get to see more OwO
I enjoyed playing this game a lot. The art style was pleasing to the eye and the environment visuals really sold the whole "other-worldly" part. It was surprising that ending Z (which imo is the true ending) ended the the way it did, cause I was totally expecting them to do what everyone would generally see as a "good" ending. Nonetheless I liked the direction it took because it was refreshing, especially for characters like Haru and Shion.
This is a wonderful game! I had so much fun in playing this, I count myself lucky for stumbling upon this game and hot blonde man. I loooooove Nikolaos' personality so much, he's cheeky and flirty in all the right areas (and he's super hot did I mention that). And the story? Aesthetics? Music?
ദ്ദി •⩊• ) Awesome.
Can't wait for the next part! You guys are doing great!
I finished this game a long while ago but I can't believe I didn't leave a review right after, so here's one right now!
This game is super immersive and well written, I love the art direction that was presented in the story and how film-esque it felt despite it being, well, a game. Super heroes + comic vibes + complex characters and backgrounds? Sign me up! The art is very lovely too and I enjoyed the looking at the CG's right after I finished everything. The details in each of them (especially in Ray's) have me awestruck.
Overall, this is one of my favorite visual novels and I will be thinking about it even from years on.
P.S I also enjoyed playing your other work, Favor. It's actually the first one I played from you. Still haven't played Ep 2 due to procrastination but hopefully I can get around to it.
I love it! I like the vibes you set down for this work, 'specially cause I can feel how immersive you wrote it out to be. The gloomy winter theme sounds very fitting for a character like Jim, a man who has spent a long time alone in harsh conditions where there's barely anyone around to interact with. The way you also wrote him was *muah, chefs kiss*. He's very adorable to me and I can't wait to see how you'll write for him in the upcoming future. Thank you for your hard work!
I enjoyed playing it! The game UI feels unique compared to most visual novels on itch, I like it. I'm liking the dynamics of MC and Cato so far, the option to reciprocate his feelings or be unsure about him is appreciated as I personally don't like it when MC is too quick to suck up to the romance leads when they have a flirty personality. I'm also interested in how you're going to develop Cato and expand his backstory with us.
The English translation was a bit hard to follow as the sentences can be long winded and the context could be misunderstood, however, it is still readable and understandable. The sentence format of some of the dialogue could be worked on but it's not a big issue overall.
As for the bugs, I noticed a couple. On the first day when Cato sits on the couch, his face is missing from his sprite in a couple of dialogue texts, it appears again shortly after advancing through the text. On the second day, when given the option to ride with Cato to Matias' house, there are two option boxes that have the same question "You are knowledgeable about cars" (not word for word, I'm remembering under the context). When Cato is picking you up from Matias' house, his glaring expression will remain on his sprite but his coded expression will appear on the side of the background (courtesy to the user above for sharing an example). And finally, when getting into the car with him he will not have an expression on his face until advancing a bit more through the dialogue. That's all I can remember at the moment.
Thank you for your hard work and take it easy!
this game was super fun to play through! i loved the little witty stuff throughout the gameplay despite the horror background setting and found myself enjoying the contrast. i love watching rpg games but never found myself playing them so this was a nice change. 9/10, one star off for not being longer /joking
