Thank you!!

Hands down the hidden gem of this jam. This game, though short, is incredibly well polished and the attention to detail is truly impressive for something made with pygame. Cheers

I'm not sure what exactly I am supposed to do to play this game, because the github repository not only has the source code, but also the pyinstaller version of the game... two of them. And one doesn't run

The game stays in task manager after you close it, which is weird to say the least. I would also highly recommend NOT making the OS cursor always stay inside the borders of the game window.

The game itself looks great, but everything I mentioned above definitely affected my experience a lot :(

As others already pointed out, win32api is not needed and confused me for a moment as well. If you stay in the middle of the left side of the screen, the ship will never crash.
But overall, this is a game that does what it's supposed to, so good job :)

Thanks for playing!

This game has serious potential, your game engine seems to have a lot of functionality built-in that most pygame games do not. However, the gameplay itself could be more interesting and satisfying.

I found the energy system unnecessarily strict. After a couple levels I started feeling as though the movement speed was reduced to make the game seem longer than it actually is.

This game pays a fair bit of attention to detail, and I hope to see a version of it that was made in a longer time span than the duration of this game jam :)

Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate it :)

Thank you for playing our game!!

Thank you for playing our game! Glad to hear you liked it :)

good game! there are a couple things that would've improved the experience, though:
- always center the rotated surface of the player (rotations are kinda wonky)
- allow the player to shoot while rotating

Hi, I tried to run the source code, but there seems to be a TypeError somewhere in the code (could surely be on my end though). Also, you should remove the .git/ folder, as its size is over 50 megabytes and it is not needed in the jam entry.

Hey, thank you so much!

Thank you!

Thank you so much!!

Game is really funny, I love the sharks' physics, but the player just moves too fast; you don't really have control in levels where platforming is important

Thanks!

this is the hardest game i've ever played in my entire life and this planet hasn't seen anything even remotely close to this in terms of difficulty. good job

You should use both silly music and pastel color palette, as stated by one of the jam hosts in the Discord server.
