In the last post we announced that we extended the submition deadline to November 7th at 23:59:59 in a gesture of solidarity with those affected by DANA.

Dear participants,

The GBRetroDev'24 team would like to extend our deepest sympathies to those who affected by the DANA in València, Castilla La Mancha and Andalucía these last days. We recognize the emergency services, security forces and citizens who have dedicated themselves to the rescue and support efforts for victims. Our thoughts are with you. 

While there is only so much we can do, as a small gesture of solidarity, we are extending the submission deadline for this game jam by one more week to November 7th at 23:59:59.

We sincerely hope for the earliest possible return to normality for those affected by the disaster, and for the recovery and restoration of the affected regions.

To ensure that everyone submits their project correctly we want to remind you the requirements needed for your game's pages. You will need:

At least

• Game Title
• 4 screenshots
• Game Trailer up-to-40 seconds
• Attached GB file
• Attached ZIP file with source code (Open Source, MIT/GPL recommended)
• These sections:
  • Description: description of your game
  • How to play: instructions, controls and anything required to play
  • Authors and licenses: authors' names, contact information, third party contents and license, links and references to original sources.

If you're having trouble uploading images for the page, check that the file isn't too heavy and that the file's name isn't too long. We leave you here a useful guide on the topic for you to check out: Itchio Page Image Guide

Third party contents are allowed under the conditions in the Rules section of the Jam says:

1. It is mandatory to provide an explicit license or permission allowing public distribution and commercialization.

2. This content will be EXCLUDED from all evaluations.

3. “Versioned” content falls under this rule.
      a. Content is considered versioned if it replicates or copies existing material created by the authors and would require permission/license.

We encouradge participants to review the Rules section as well to be sure your submissions respect it.

The deadline for submitting your game pages for the GBRetroDev'24: Heroes of ASM is approaching fast.

The due date is on October 31st, so you have only 2 days and 5 hours left to complete your submission.

Please ensure that your project is submitted on time, as late submissions will be disqualified.

After the deadline, no further changes to your game page will be allowed, and any modification will result in immediate disqualification.
