Dripping with atmosphere. If you'd shown me the intro cutscene and asked me to guess what happens next I never would've gotten it. Nice work!

Really enjoyed this one, there's something to be said for simple controls and a compelling target. Looks nice, sounds good, fun to play, well done :)

Bonus points for the very serious OH/S disclaimers throughout. A simple but effective concept executed in a really fun way, great work :)

Lovely little game! It's clear a lot of care has gone into the visuals and sound design, little things like the parallax effect on the city in the background and the balanced sound effects are really nice touches. Awesome work :)

Fantastic artwork, very stylish, it makes the gameplay feel very intense. Major props for getting a leaderboard implemented in jam timeframes too. I had fun, well done :)

Cool to see so many creative takes on gear puzzles, nice work with this one :)

Really well executed puzzle game, love the visuals, fun to play, and satisfying to solve all the puzzles. Great work :)

I'm touched you enjoyed it that much, that means the world, thank you :)

Thankyou very much! Having just played yours I find it so cool to see how many of the same choices we made about things like UI layout and level design, we must've been in very similar headspaces during development :D

Visual and sound design is stellar, great work there. Special mention to the voice acting, very nice touch! I did mix up which bey was mine and which was the opponents more than once, some visual differentiation would be appreciated. Overall a fun time, great work :)

This game has a very satisfying combat system, and I found it quite addictive, while I couldn't get to the end I found it quite difficult to stop playing. Awesome work, I look foward to seeing what you make next!

Hitting the handbrake turn 180 and spamming both barrels into a swarm of enemy cars behind you is incredibly satisfying. Would only be enhanced by the addition of a horn button for taunting the enemies. Great work :)

Fun little game! I enjoyed the fire redirection mechanic, and could see a full puzzle game built around it. It was satisfying getting to the end and seeing the sky after the intensity indoors. Well done :)

Really creative combat system, the different weapons felt meaningfully different to use in battle, and made combat unpredictable (the clock is great!). It would be cool to see how the game could evolve going foward :)

Well designed, well executed, and quite funny too. Amazing work.

The best outcome we could ask for, thank you :)

Thank you very much, we had a lot of fun with the sound design :)

Thanks so much! The direction indicator is a great idea, I think the logical step would be to have a subtle direction arrow appear on the gears as the mechanism builds up? Appreciate the feedback :)

Amazing work on this one. The lights on earth progressively returning was a really nice touch, and the music was perfect.

The most cats I've seen in a game this jam. Good work.

DJ Reggie is thus far my favourite character from the game jam.

Amazing work, well done.

Amazing use of the theme! Excited to see what would come next.

Thanks so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)

Awesome work! The game is fun, nice variety of weapons, the art looks great, and the level up wheel of fortune is an amazing idea. I'd love to see the concept expanded somehow... perhaps tiers of buffs/debuffs that need to be balanced before you can spin? It feels like a really logical fit for a roguelike.

I got to the end of floor 2 and didn't seem to be able to go any further. I also had some freezes on pickups/damaging new enemies (on firefox if that helps?) Regardless, I had a great time!

Fantastic game! Fun to play, steady ramp up in challenge, very tightly designed, and looks and sounds great to boot.

A little tricky to get the controls working on the web (for future players, close the main menu with esc before going fullscreen, then walk forward into the grey rectangle to start, and be careful not to crouch and move forward lest you close the browser window) but the actual beyblade fights are fun to watch! It's a cool little project, and I wonder how it could evolve in a v2.0.

Very satisfying to untangle, great work! I would be interested to see what comes next.

Incredibly stylish, great work on the visuals and sound design. Felt like I might get eaten by a shark at any moment which is A+.

Amazing work for a first game jam!

Thanks for persevering! I appreciate the feedback. That particular mechanic could definitely be explained better, it's something I wish I caught in playtesting earlier. Lesson learned!

Surprisingly addicting, I love that the unit of speed is fish per second too. It would be great if winding up the launching wheel had some more feedback, maybe a growing sound effect that winds up in intensity? Good work overall.

Thanks so much for playing!

Some really useful feedback in your video - I've just pushed a quick update for the menu cursor (v2.1.7).

Looking forward to part 2 :D
