You did really well with making a game with growing plants that really stresses the player out, with always switching between the four hotkeys. Also i think that the difficulty of the game is right at perfect sweet spot, i did it with 1016 on my second attempt.
Things that could be added, would be more variety in plants and maybe some kind of defence against the bugs.
I really appreciate your feedback, because what you critizised is pretty much what my goals would be if i had more time, Win and Lose Condition: i feared to not be able to balance the game for that in that short time and the point with implementing the Theme more, i originally wanted to make that platforms influence other nearby platforms. For example one turret placed next to another would increase the firerate of both. This would have added more strategic depth in placing the platform.
Thank you for your comment and feedback. I updated the itch.io page and tried to explain it there. If you made enough right decisions the text "I dont trust this part of the forest anymore" will change to "<----- Home".
I experienced these crashes during my Tests too, but when i export from Godot to Windows it does not happen. I can Upload this Version if someones interested! The thing with the small viewport was ment to give the feeling of beeing weak.
