Thank you for the lovely words! I agree the game was a bit challenging, I spent too much time trying to get things looking understandable and left out making the actual game! Still fun overall. Thanks for  your comment though!

Thank you for your kind words!

I like your take on "you are the weapon", very cool idea.

The game overall was fun. I too found that spamming the spacebar led to me just dashing around the screen but this did not necessarily take away from the fun and made it more about getting as big of a combo as possible!

I enjoyed the game overall, I would be interested to see where you would take it beyond just slamming into things. I could see this being a very fun arcade game to play with a bit more fleshing out (I'll mirror other Mykaelos' sentiments about powerups)

Well done!

A fun little game overall.

I love the color choices and the music was quite nice. I found the overall aesthetic quite appealing for using just two colors.

I feel that maybe the laser indicators could be bigger or somehow more noticeable, it wasn't until I was on my third or fourth attempt I figured out where they were.

I enjoyed the game overall, the first thing I'd like to see is using keyboard keys for movement!  Excellent presentation and effects. Good job!

Thanks for reviewing my submission!

I agree the gameplay is a bit  unintuitive. For the future, I might refrain from trying to do a 3D game if I have only 2 colors to work with as trying to figure out just how to portray things and make sure there is some sense of space and distance took up so much time I never got around to really strengthening the gameplay!

I imagine the lag might be because the garbage collector is disposing of all the bullet objects shot from the big gun ships. It was only after submissions had concluded that I realized I should have just used object pooling instead of instantiating and destroying so many small bullets! Lessons for the future at least.

Either way, thank you very much!

Thanks for the review! I agree the 3D aspect probably was pushing it a bit too much for my own capabilities. It certainly was fun but trying to figure out a way to make things somewhat understandable with only 2 colors in 3D took away so much time I never got around to making the gameplay better.

Either way, appreciate you taking the time to look my submission over!
