Thank you for your feedback!! :D I’m sorry that the puzzles were frustrating! I tried working around the diversifier of having no text throughout the game with the puzzles but it is clear I could’ve given more of an indication of things like the inventory system (I guess I’m just used to it being there so I didn’t think about that). I didn’t intend for it to be upsetting :( I’m still glad you like it though! I’ll take your thoughts into consideration if I ever make a project like this again in the future :)

I really like the style of this game!

I rlly like the sound design and just the design of general! makes me want fish sticks :O

I don’t think I’ve seen a horror game with typing as its main focus before! Really enjoyed it! Felt like I was taking a rlly intense typing speed test :D

it is a bit hard to get ending one since one of the patients gives you health back but it’s possible!

Hello ! :O

Doctor's Orders is a short psychological horror game where you play as a doctor working at the office while his little brother tags along! Since you can fix everything, everything will go just fine, right? The game is made with a hand-drawn style and has two endings! 

This project has been in development for around 9 months, so I'm very excited to release it :)

It seems the first ending is possible since someone did find a spelling mistake in it but I'll try and see if I can make it easier to obtain somehow :o

I'll try to fix the bugs you mentioned! The one about the dialog is one I've struggled with for a hot minute, but I'll try and figure it out! :)

From testing the game the ending is achievable, you just have to  try and get as many items as wrong as you can! Though sometimes that isn't really possible,, just try to get the lowest stamina possible for each day :)

i'm also kind of not good with troubleshooting but i've found some things you can do like go to the properties of the .exe file and go to compatibility and choose to run the program in the compatibility mode for your computer.

There were some additional things I wanted to such as add random events like the protagonist throwing up, but in all honesty, I had no idea how to have it work how I wanted it to without the character being stuck or having it be mandatory. Collapsing on day six was supposed to be a random event but it just didn't work how I wanted it to, so I made it a cutscene. That doesn't mean I can't figure it out though! I'll be sure to add more random events in my next rpgmaker game :)! I'll definitely be adding more stuff lol 

ty! I used libresprite for all the sprites in the game and used ibispaint for the cutscenes such as the ones on the balcony. If you're using an older version of rpgmaker you'll want to export your sprite with the indexed color mode or else it won't work in rpgmaker :)

aw ty! luckily you don't need to know any kind of coding language to use rpgmaker or i might've never made this game lol

The protagonist is a celebrity known for modeling and acting! They also work with big companies to produce their blood and organ products, which are marketed as a sort of "need-to-have" product, which makes them even more popular. Their name is censored as I couldn't really think of a name to fit them lol, and also cause I'd like to see whatever name people give them. :D

They also go by they/them but I can see why some ppl think they're she/her from their longer hair so it doesn't rlly bother me

The mushrooms are a result of the anti-aging medicine, which was supposed to repair and replace dead cells, but it kinda got out of hand. I'm definitely gonna explain it more in the sequel of this game. :)

The next game I'm planning to do is gonna try and replicate the old click-and-drag flash game style of games I used to play when I was younger, at least in a sense. It will take place in a hospital and you'll play as a doctor tending to patients, mostly. It'll definitely take longer than idolize, not just because of how much more there'll be to do but because I'm soon going back to school in the next two weeks. But that's fine! I'll still probably post doodles or things about it on my tumblr if you want to see it :D
