its always a good day when scratchin melodii update

You've got copilot, edge, chrome, roblox, steam, AND microsoft paint open. You're using all of your RAM and the game doesn't have enough space to put the textures in memory. Close some programs and free up your memory.

Also, please don't mess with the lang config if you don't know what you're doing.

It happens to me when I start to run out of RAM or my PC starts relying on swapspace for some reason. Basically, what I'm saying is close your browser tabs, wait a few minutes for your computer to cool down and try again.

...And if its still not working, just do the tried-and-true-windows solution(TM), reboot your computer.

Theres a verification process, just don't leak and you'll be alr

haha, n o. buy the game and join our server, just play it normally, god.

Not really, the mod team has decided to make a new mod called "Pizza Tower Custom Order", which is basically Modloader+ without the Cheesed Up base. The final build was uploaded in the DC server, but its REALLY buggy. I'd stay tuned for updates on CO in the meantime.

On the topic of SunkyJam leaking the build, that's been known for MONTHS. The early sunset of ML+ was done for different reasons.

oh. yeah I don't use pizza oven normally so thanks for the help!

How do you actually use the mod normally? I tried adding the patches to scoutdigo v1.2 but it didn't work.

In any case, thanks for uploading this!

update: I managed to compile PT with gamemaker 1, I think you can compile the source code that way too

I SAW THE LEGENDARY NYAN CAT IN THE DOC

where did you get this image??? or did you make it?

i am bamboozled

dumbfounded

There is no easy difficulty. Its an illusion.

Become pro.

(the easy mode doesn't change anything)

its... a demo... thats why its free. the gane is gonsa be paid

I was mostly talking about stage themes but yeah thats there too

Hello!  So since its based on OpenTower, you can follow the guide by Lila to compile it!

Not exactly sure WHY you need the source code for this for anything other than checking the code or assets, but you can do what you want.

https://github.com/femloy/OpenTower/blob/main/README.md

You need GameMaker Studio 2 as well, and sadly, you need to pay $99.99 to use it and compile the code...

Also, you won't need to run the Pizza Tower decomp script since the source code for Final Round has it anyway.

In the end, I don't really support how the Final Round devs stole code. Its not by any means justifiable.

That makes sense, in any case unity works pretty well with proton, so it might work anyway.

games change a lot in development, this is the direction the game will take...

I'd use pizza tower as an example, being a very different game in the early test build

asking LJ to make the game like the demos is like telling a baby to stop walking and keep crawling because its cute...

in any case a mod will probably come out shortly after launch to have older vocals and stuff anyway

glad to see how development is going so far!  I can tell you for sure that I will be pre ordering this game when they open (or if they do) but in any case I will get this at launch!

I get I might be being a (little) annoying with the possibility of the game getting a Linux build?

(1 edit)

I'm glad to see updates on the game's development, it seems to be coming along well!  One question though, can you please build the game for Linux when it comes out?  It's a nice quality of life as Proton isn't perfect and has some performance issues on certain titles for seemingly no reason.

(1 edit)

I think that once the game releases it should get basic support on Proton Experimental.  I'll try it on newer hardware too to give it a shot.

Edit: I mean that a patch should add some support automatically, it happens a lot for steam games.

Classic.  Try indexing it as a Steam title to use it with Proton.  Since the game is getting a retail release on Steam you might find luck with it if you use Proton Experimental.

update: I tried doing this multiple times, it doesn't work.  probably because my linux device is 14 years old, and is living on a ram upgrade lifeline.  I'll take a shot at this on a newer piece of hardware for sure.

I think I know a good chunk of the references...

Biggie Cheesecake makes references to Pacman

Mari references frutiger aero and other aesthetics

Jamentine might be a reference to Cheap Cheap from Parappa

McWaves is obviously a McDonalds nod, but possibly a beard burger nod to Parappa 2

idk whats up with the tennis stage but it is hard and fun

And the last one...  YOU LIKE PUYO PUYO TOO???  THIS IS LIT I ALREADY HAD IT ON MY WISHLIST BUT NOW IM DEFS BUYING THE GAME

Hey I ripped the game assets and have successfully ported it to PC. (currently you need to drop your pc executable into the files to play it)  I was wondering if I could have permission to put this on 3DS and Wii homebrew shops...
