Hey! I'm sorry, but as I mentioned in the thread title, I’ve already closed the ratings on my end. I’ve reached my goal of replies (the most I could do) for this jam and I’m moving on to other tasks now. Best of luck with your project!

My bad! I honestly didn't see your reply until now. I'm new here and didn't realize there was a second page of comments :(

Hey! I'm so sorry for the late reply. I'm actually quite new to Itch.io and I completely missed your message because I didn't realize there was a 'Page 2' for the replies

I ABSOLUTtELY LOVED THE GRAPHICS! The art style is incredible, those hand drawn elements, the animations, and the backgrounds are just stunning. I also really enjoyed the music and SFX; the game is short but sweet and looks beautiful!! It’s easily one of the best entries I’ve played in this jam, and it definitely has the most unique and distinctive art style I’ve seen so far. Fantastic work and congratulations!!

I really loved the game and the overall vibe! The graphics are simple but have a lot of style. The music is great too!

One bit of feedback: I'd just be a bit more careful with the colliders to avoid any clipping or getting stuck. Other than that, great job!

I loved the atmosphere and the camera mechanics! The music and SFX are really nice, the graphics look beautiful, and the UI is stellar.

One bit of feedback: it felt like there were a few too many cameras to manage at times. Streamlining the camera count might make the experience even smoother. The VFX were also a great touch! Excellent work and congratulations!

Great 2D art and cute characters! The style is really charming and the animations feel very polished, congrats for mixing 2D and 3D, it's not an easy task!

For feedback: in the 2D sections, the carrot colliders could use some tweaking; I often found myself right on top of them without being able to pick them up. For the 3D parts, camera rotation would be a huge plus, I assume it was a time constraint, but it would definitely help the exploration!

Lastly, regarding the 'Strange Places' theme: while I get the 'random' vibe, I felt the world lacked visual cohesion. The tiles are beautiful individually, but they seem placed without a consistent aesthetic criterion. Finding a way to make those random elements feel like they belong together would really level up the experience.

Overall, lovely work on the visuals! 🎨✨

I really enjoyed the combat and the overall visual style! The 3D models are fantastic, they manage to be both creepy and stunning at the same time. The SFX were also spot on and really added to the atmosphere. Awesome work! 💀

The controls are great, they really reminded me of the flight mechanics in Outer Wilds! The shaders you used are absolutely mind-bending, and I loved the strange, unique aesthetic of the graphics. This truly feels like a 'strange place' in every sense of the word. Fantastic job and congratulations!

Incredible work for your first-ever jam! love the art and you managed to build a complete game loop, including a tutorial, that’s no small feat at all!. The controls felt really fluid, I loved it!

For feedback, I’d suggest adding some knockback when hitting enemies or perhaps a block mechanic. Also, when attacking while moving, the character tends to 'slide' on the floor; locking the movement during the attack animation would make it look much more grounded. One last thing: watch out for the platform placement, as I kept hitting my head on the ones above me. I really liked that you respawn on the last platform you fell from. Great job and congratulations!

I loved the visuals! The mechanics feel really fluid, and it’s honestly mind-blowing that you developed this entire game on a mobile phone, I don't think I could ever pull that off! The checkpoints are also a very nice addition.

For feedback: I’d suggest showing more of the environment by default. Relying on the magnifying glass to see what's ahead or below makes the gameplay feel a bit like 'trial and error.' Seeing more of the path would improve anticipation and help avoid those 'blind jumps' where you just have to guess where the obstacles are. Incredible achievement Great job! 📱🚀

Beautiful art and UI design! The animations are super fluid, and the game is really entertaining overall.

As a bit of feedback, a quick tutorial or onboarding would help with the initial learning curve, as it’s a bit confusing at first. Also, I’d check the legibility of the card font or text size, as it was a bit hard to read. Great job on the visuals and the overall feel!

Rated! and with this one you just hit the 20 review milestone! congratulations!!🎊

Super simple, minimalist, and fun! I really loved the retro art and sound design, they capture that old-school era perfectly. One quick tip: I’d suggest adding some telegraphing (anticipation) to the enemy attacks so the player has a chance to react. Also, I wasn't sure if there was a final win state or just a high-score loop

Overall, a great and nostalgic entry. Awesome work! 👾

This game absolutely blew my mind! It’s simple yet incredibly intriguing, the visual work is stunning: the animations (grass, particles, character) are subtle but meticulously executed, it has parallax to, unbelieable!!

The art style is creepy and unique, I love how you created such a dark, beautiful atmosphere with a limited color palette. That lighting transition in the first level was cheff kiss for me, it was so eye-pleasing. The contrast between the gloomy forest and the retro-tech (radars, computers, elevators) is brilliant, and the genetic lab at the end really nailed the tension. Also, the storytelling is great! it ties every beautiful aspect of the game together perfectly.

The audio is exquisite, both the music and the SFX, helps a lot to set the ambience. One bit of constructive feedback: I’d suggest refining the jump mechanics. I actually like the 'charge' jump, but the air control feels a bit stiff, and sometimes the distances between platforms leave very little room for error. Smoothing out the handling in the air would make the platforming feel much more rewarding.

Honestly, I can’t believe a solo dev pulled this off in just 7 days. This is easily one of the best games I’ve played in the jam. You definitely have a chance to win category a deserve a spot in the Brackeys video ! Incredible work!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! You're right, I went with the adventure/exploration route to focus on the 'strange' feeling of the world. As a Technical Artist, this jam project is the foundation for a much more visual-heavy experience I’m planning. Once I resume development, I'll be adding custom shaders, VFX, and a more polished environment to really bring the cube's faces to life. Good luck with your project as well, I will try it out and thanks for stopping by!

Aww thanks bro ♥ I really appreciate those words! I’m so glad you felt the 'Strange Places' theme through the different faces of the cubethat was exactly the core idea I wanted to explore but I didn't have the time to build the biomes

As a Tech Artist, I'm planning to keep working on this project to push those environments with more custom shaders, VFX, and sound design. Thanks a lot for the high rating and for taking the time to share your feedback!! Much apreciated!

This concept is incredibly original and aligns with the theme perfectly! The retro ambiance, paired with that lovely UI and solid sound design, makes for a really enjoyable experience. I’ve honestly never played anything quite like it, with this mechanic.

One piece of constructive feedback: I found the balance between information to process and time a bit challenging. There’s a lot to read and process in each slot, and the timer felt a bit too tight to truly reason through the logic you've built. To keep the tension without making it feel overwhelming, you might consider either extending the timer, reducing the number of possible outcomes (universes) but offering fewer 'lives' . This would keep the stakes high while letting the player actually engage with the puzzles. Overall, a very unique and well-executed entry. Great job!

Thanks for playing!! ♥  it's super empty but it will be beter I promise

Thanks so much for the feedback! The world is what rotates, not the player

I really wanted to showcase my work as a Technical Artist with custom shaders, VFX, and terrains, but I ran out of time during the jam to implement them as I envisioned. I’m planning to resume the project soon to add all those visual details, sound design, and a system to navigate between any face of the cube. Since 3D modeling isn't my main focus, I’ll be using external assets for the models so I can double down on the technical and environmental side. Thanks again for taking the time to ask!

I absolutely loved the eerie atmosphere! The 3D models are gorgeous and there’s a great sense of visual consistency throughout the game. The UI is very sleek, and the lighting and sound design do a great job of setting the mood. It was a great experience overall!

Thanks a lot, man! I'm really glad you liked the concept. It’s definitely incomplete as I prioritized the core mechanics for this jam, but I’m happy the foundation is there. I’ll check out your game for sure and leave some feedback soon

I like the pixel art aesthetic! It gives the game such a neat look, and the gravity-swapping is a nice  mechanic.

One thing that caught me off guard was the directional inputs flipping when the gravity shifts. It makes the platforming a bit tricky to master, so keeping the controls consistent might help the gameplay flow better. Also, I think a slightly more guided tutorial or some extra onboarding would be a great addition to help players get the hang of the mechanics right from the start.

The audio is solid and fits the vibe well. Keep it up!

O-M-G, I can’t believe what I just played! Three people did this in a single week? That’s insane! You guys realize this is basically at the level of a full-release game right? Just imagine what you could achieve in a month! Honestly, this is the best game I've tried in the jam so far, 5 stars across the board because you absolutely earned them.

It’s absolutely polished! I completed it 100% and loved the mysterious concept, the gorgeous art ♥ and the UI screens, the plot, the particles, the variety of environments, and the SFX details were spot on. I especially loved how the sound varies when pressing the same key multiple times (great attention to detail!). The hand cursor movement is so fluid, and the puzzles are amazing! There are so many mechanics: logic, point-and-click, throwing, numbers, wiring, and more. It’s wonderful. I got myself thinking that I would love to play the other character puzzles too!

Seriously, this game 100% deserves to be featured by Brackeys or even win a category. What you’ve achieved in a week is incredible: highly functional, polished, well-designed, cohesive, and complete. Congratulations! It was a fantastic experience! 🏆

I loved the atmosphere! You really nailed the toxic cave vibe, the sound work is excellent, and honestly, with a few tweaks, this feels like a solid vertical slice for a bigger game. Most jam projects feel like tech demos  (due to lack of time, not like of ability), but here you’ve successfully integrated art, sound, UI, movement and mechanics into a nice game

A few suggestions:

  • Readability: The text font definitely needs to be scaled up; it's a bit hard to read right now.
  • Telegraphing: It would be great to have a clearer indicator when a threat is coming, maybe through directional audio or a screen effect
  • Environment: For the small stones, I’d suggest using random scaling so they don't look like placed props. Blending them more with the cave floor and adding some rock outcrops on the walls would break up the tiling and make the cave feel more natural.
  • UX/Feedback: If sprinting is limited by item weight, a weight indicator in the UI would clear up that confusion immediately.

Overall, this was a nice experience. Huge congrats!

This feels like such a complete and cohesive experience! It’s clear that every detail was well thought out, from the mechanics to the overall presentation.

I absolutely loved the character designs (they have their own personality) and the voice is a nice touch that really brings the world to life. It’s a pretty unique project and I had a fun time playing  it. Honestly, I’m blown away by how much you managed to do in just 7 days! Awesome job to the whole team!
