i like the twist on a usual catching game by having the player constantly move! makes sense given the games theme as well. gameplay is fun and the sfx is entertaining! managed to get to 12700 score :)

thank you!! im glad you had fun with it, i am very happy with how the dynamic works so im also happy you pointed that out :)

thank you so much! a lot of the effort designing the game went into what you mentioned (intuitive and simple gameplay, very minimal palette etc) so i am very glad you appreciated all of those features! :>

You are very welcome!! A post jam update would be great! the game is fun already as is ofc :)

I like this game! I really like the way you introduce the 3rd tool (mop) with the rain during the run, it makes sense! Only feedback would be to speed up the animation for cleaning a puddle, it can look like its not been dealt with when it has. Well done! :)

Very fun game! I like the visual flair - the camera movement, the particles etc. It makes the game very appeasing!

Here is my feedback:

  • The heart container bugged out a bit, showing the 4th heart as empty constantly. this caused a gap when you have 5 hearts.
  • Beyond level 12, I noticed that the character flashes red and yellow and instantly destroys any enemies nearby? Unsure if that is an intentional 'spawn protection' or something to do with the explosion
  • I would recommend limiting or despawning hearts over time. It is easy to constantly replenish health by avoiding extra ones!

I know thats a lot of nagging but it is because I like this game and would love to see these addressed in a post jam update if you are planning on it! Congrats on making this game :>

this is really good! the gameplay is simple but manages to reward restraint in waiting for a powerup before using a gust. very cozy atmosphere as well, love the intro animation! :)

only feedback is collecting powerups is quite difficult, both due to the random spawning and their small size

awesome! sounds like a good idea, and you are very welcome!

cozy and matches the theme very well! feedback would be make the cone where leaves are blown a bit smaller, but thats very minor and may be just a me thing. well done!

this is really sweet! gameplay is very simple but the amount of stuff to clean means the game length is perfect for keeping you interested whilst lasting a while! sound was great aswell, really well done! only feedback would be that leaves could spawn ontop of the lakes, and that the trees had some strange collision.

this game is an absolute fever dream, thank you for making this JHKDHDSHKK as most people said the music is great, the gameplay is pretty fun too, well done! :>

thank you!! first comment about the colour scheme which is nice :)

this is a really sweet comment, ill pass it on the to DJAlpha (the games composer and sound designer)!

thank you so much!! i really appreciate this comment, it does take restraint as early on i was already having ideas about limiting flips or a 3rd green layer! the fact you feel 'outclassed' here shows that your willing to learn from others, which is a great way about doing things! if you want some advice, id say be aware about feature creep and think about a mechanic and why it's in the game before implementing it.

absolutely lovely comment tho, ill pass it on to the feedback to the others, best of luck in your future jams! :>

(p.s thanks for noticing the control schemes :D)

i understand, there is not much time for bug fixing! and you are welcome, it's still a very fun game!

the effects are brill in this game! the glow and outline of selected outlines and the great audio + sound for weather are really well done! ony issue is i did run into a bug where my composters got stuck around a tree and couldnt move. really well done tho!

thanks! the bats were a last second addition, glad you like them!

i am also very glad you appreciate the control options!! it was something i always forget to do but helps everyone enjoy the game their own way :)

I could go on about pretty much every aspect of this game and how amazing it is, not even considering it was made in 3 days. your entire game is polished and brilliant, well done to the entire team!!

for my favourite aspects,  i love the cute sound design and really appreciate the attention to detail. the little pumpkin walking on the saving popup, the run particles, the decor spread across each area, the intense drums fading in as you approach an enemy and slow if it hits you. i look forward to seeing updates for this game if they are planned!!!

in future, maybe some more differentiation between areas would be nice? they are all fun to play but feature the same assets  ive played a bit more and this is not even true. one minor bug i have encountered is that i died in a different area (10 golden acorn gate) and respawned without the fog in the mangrove like area.

ill stop adding more to this and just enjoy the game, y'all are extremely talented and im excited to see what is next!

this game is so sweet! ;-; the art and visuals are so well done. adorable pumpkins, the small bounce animation as a plant grows and the painted textbox all add to the cozy feel of the game!!

gameplay is simple yet unique and captivating, the shop and story both kept me interested throughout the entire time playing the game!

for constructive feedback, only thing i can think of is maybe something that lets you collect more at once? towards the end it felt like it was a race to collect things, so maybe another upgrade for collecting would be nice?

you both did an incredible job making this game, let alone in 3 days, and should be really proud!! huge congrats!!! :)

very cute game! hard to make designs with overlapping elements but really sweet and relaxing time playing it, well done :>

i really enjoy the style of this game! it looks incredible. i understand difficulty may be intended to be high, but i personally felt like there was a steep learning curve that is hard to explain with just a text explanation. maybe some more graceful timers with a dummy sort of enemy to help ease players in would be nice??

overall, cool game! congrats, it looks amazing :)

a short but absolutely incredible looking game! really enjoyed the cell shading, nice to see such a cool 3D game made in godot!

gameplay is pretty fun too, although the lack of shadows and isometric(?) camera angle make it a bit difficult to gauge depth. there is a lack of checkpoints but its the length makes it not too annoying to go back.

you've definitely inspired me to make a 3D game myself, congrats for getting out such a nice game in such little time!

I absolutely agree with AJW8s feedback - the game needs a bit of tweaking but well done for completing it in such a short timeframe!

oh cool! that was the vibe i was going for, glad you enjoyed! :>

this is a nice game! simple concept but the powerups add variety :)

this game is adorable! love the sprites, can get a bit repetitive but overall a sweet atmosphere!

congrats on getting your game complete! i like the particles effects when destroying leaves, however some feedback would be to maybe move the buttons or add keybinds to avoid having to lose aim to purchase upgrades? solid game though! high score was 60 something.

Commented on the main page, but ill just say a huge congrats again here :>

I had to write this in a notepad whilst playing because there is so much I want to say about this game! The meta humour just in the intro alone is absolutely brilliant, and the concept of the game is also really clever!

[Spoiler warning I suppose]

The slow evolution after collecting certain amounts of assets is very cool and, whilst the maze gameplay can be a bit repetitive, this and the words and pictures scattered within the design of the maze itself do help keep it interesting! The music is lovely and works well with the game being ‘rebuilt’ as each instrument comes in.

Huge congrats to the team to getting this out in such a short timeframe!! If you are out there Demyanovich ‘Devi’ Winifred Ferdinand Vinogradov-Saunders, I ‘hope’ you get the credit you so truly ‘deserve’!

p.s if you were not aware the theme was optional but I think its a good think you followed it if not!

aww this is a very sweet comment, thank you! ill pass the comment on about the music to the person who made it for the game :)

thank you! it was originally you died, it's thanks to the playtesters for noticing it so ill pass that on!

thanks! and yeah, i think the effect works less well as the game speeds up, maybe  it would be more suited to a puzzle game without a fast pace. thanks again for the feedback :>

thank you! it makes me happy to know the settings menu is appreciated :>

well done on getting over 10k! :D

i completely understand where your coming from, especially since the shape does not change. i may do a small post jam update to add some options to fully fade the ghost or similar.

thanks for the feedback!

i love the unique concept of this game!! the art is very nice too, found it really sweet how you worked with your sister, you did a great job together! :)

really cute game! i like the story of walking between different places, it really fits the cozy fall theme well!! only complaint would be about score, i felt like i kept losing it but couldnt tell what caused it? overall the game is great though!

cool game! the visual effects on hitting/destroying leaves are very impressive but a bit too intense in my opinion, might need to be tuned down. the game is fun though, well done!

cute game! really like the art style, fits the cozy theme of the jam! haven't managed to beat it yet but i think it is well balanced, only advice would be to pad the timer so that 1:9 becomes 1:09 :)

33980 isthe current score to kick the devs ass!

post your high scores here! the game will not remember high scores between sessions.

This game is so cool!! I love the concept of the game and how well it works/ is explained with the character being a injured firefly. Its challenging but definitely repayable. Also very impressive how you managed to get palettes and controller input into a game jam game, well done!! :)
