i like the twist on a usual catching game by having the player constantly move! makes sense given the games theme as well. gameplay is fun and the sfx is entertaining! managed to get to 12700 score :)

Very fun game! I like the visual flair - the camera movement, the particles etc. It makes the game very appeasing!
Here is my feedback:
- The heart container bugged out a bit, showing the 4th heart as empty constantly. this caused a gap when you have 5 hearts.
- Beyond level 12, I noticed that the character flashes red and yellow and instantly destroys any enemies nearby? Unsure if that is an intentional 'spawn protection' or something to do with the explosion
- I would recommend limiting or despawning hearts over time. It is easy to constantly replenish health by avoiding extra ones!
I know thats a lot of nagging but it is because I like this game and would love to see these addressed in a post jam update if you are planning on it! Congrats on making this game :>
this is really sweet! gameplay is very simple but the amount of stuff to clean means the game length is perfect for keeping you interested whilst lasting a while! sound was great aswell, really well done! only feedback would be that leaves could spawn ontop of the lakes, and that the trees had some strange collision.
thank you so much!! i really appreciate this comment, it does take restraint as early on i was already having ideas about limiting flips or a 3rd green layer! the fact you feel 'outclassed' here shows that your willing to learn from others, which is a great way about doing things! if you want some advice, id say be aware about feature creep and think about a mechanic and why it's in the game before implementing it.
absolutely lovely comment tho, ill pass it on to the feedback to the others, best of luck in your future jams! :>
(p.s thanks for noticing the control schemes :D)
I could go on about pretty much every aspect of this game and how amazing it is, not even considering it was made in 3 days. your entire game is polished and brilliant, well done to the entire team!!
for my favourite aspects, i love the cute sound design and really appreciate the attention to detail. the little pumpkin walking on the saving popup, the run particles, the decor spread across each area, the intense drums fading in as you approach an enemy and slow if it hits you. i look forward to seeing updates for this game if they are planned!!!
in future, maybe some more differentiation between areas would be nice? they are all fun to play but feature the same assets ive played a bit more and this is not even true. one minor bug i have encountered is that i died in a different area (10 golden acorn gate) and respawned without the fog in the mangrove like area.
ill stop adding more to this and just enjoy the game, y'all are extremely talented and im excited to see what is next!
this game is so sweet! ;-; the art and visuals are so well done. adorable pumpkins, the small bounce animation as a plant grows and the painted textbox all add to the cozy feel of the game!!
gameplay is simple yet unique and captivating, the shop and story both kept me interested throughout the entire time playing the game!
for constructive feedback, only thing i can think of is maybe something that lets you collect more at once? towards the end it felt like it was a race to collect things, so maybe another upgrade for collecting would be nice?
you both did an incredible job making this game, let alone in 3 days, and should be really proud!! huge congrats!!! :)
i really enjoy the style of this game! it looks incredible. i understand difficulty may be intended to be high, but i personally felt like there was a steep learning curve that is hard to explain with just a text explanation. maybe some more graceful timers with a dummy sort of enemy to help ease players in would be nice??
overall, cool game! congrats, it looks amazing :)
a short but absolutely incredible looking game! really enjoyed the cell shading, nice to see such a cool 3D game made in godot!
gameplay is pretty fun too, although the lack of shadows and isometric(?) camera angle make it a bit difficult to gauge depth. there is a lack of checkpoints but its the length makes it not too annoying to go back.
you've definitely inspired me to make a 3D game myself, congrats for getting out such a nice game in such little time!
I had to write this in a notepad whilst playing because there is so much I want to say about this game! The meta humour just in the intro alone is absolutely brilliant, and the concept of the game is also really clever!
[Spoiler warning I suppose]
The slow evolution after collecting certain amounts of assets is very cool and, whilst the maze gameplay can be a bit repetitive, this and the words and pictures scattered within the design of the maze itself do help keep it interesting! The music is lovely and works well with the game being ‘rebuilt’ as each instrument comes in.
Huge congrats to the team to getting this out in such a short timeframe!! If you are out there Demyanovich ‘Devi’ Winifred Ferdinand Vinogradov-Saunders, I ‘hope’ you get the credit you so truly ‘deserve’!
p.s if you were not aware the theme was optional but I think its a good think you followed it if not!
