I love this! great job! the remade music is really cool.

Love the art style!

Sorry, but I usually work alone for jams. Wish you best of luck though!

Congrats on winning the game jam!

No problem! Congrats on getting top 10%

Already marked my calendar for this one! Got a new placement PB in 2025.2!

Really cute game! I like the retro, look and the narrative is nice. Solid submission.

Same here. At one point it showed a site maintenance message instead of an error.

100th rate! Congrats and good job! Good visuals and addictive gameplay.

The jam is almost over soon, so has anyone found a really neat game that deserves more rates, or is worth trying?

Haha yeah technically it's me playing against you forty nine times!

Thanks so much for playing! The other players are actually just ghost data that I pre-recorded! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks!

Haha that's high praise for a jam game! Thanks so much!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! yeah a retry button was planned, but I didn't get around to it! glad you had fun!

Nice interpretation of the theme! Taking risks in gardening is a nice take, and definitely has some potential. I found a bug with putting soil on top of the UI, but overall good job.

thanks!

thanks! glad you liked it!

It's quite challenging but very rewarding! I got a bit past floor 1, but then died on a red bit! The controls are tricky, but once it clicks you really can get the hang of it and it's really satisfying to get three perfect jumps in a row! my only suggestion would be that a sort of jump power meter to help you predict how much power you have stored up. overall nice job!

Thanks so much! glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah it was pretty crazy, but I'm glad it worked out! Thanks so much for the thoughtful review!

thanks! glad you enjoyed it!

I really like how you interpreted the theme! at each stop I was really considering wether or not to risk it. the combat system feels a little bit clunky, but overall it's very polished, especially for a jam game. Also I really like the art, especially for the mouse. Great job!

Thank you! I always love it if I can make someone laugh! glad you liked it!

Thanks! yeah the player was kept like that to make him chaotically blend in more, but i get what your saying. glad you liked it!

This is really fun to control! I like how satisfying it is to zip around really fast! overall solid job.

Nice! glad you had fun!

No way! I had this exact idea when brainstorming for the jam! Glad to see someone actually made it! Also amazing execution and the visuals are really nice! With the simple idea and great polish, this is game jam gold. great job!

Haha thanks! the NPCs are one of my favorite parts too just because of how funny it is!

Cute idle game! it's a neat idea to have the physics on the curser. my only suggestion would be to make the text color contrast more since it was kinda hard to read, but still great job.

thanks! glad someone likes the visuals! that's probably my favorite part!

thanks! glad you liked it!

Oh ok. Thanks, I'll have to give that a try!

This game looks amazing. I have to ask, what was the process for creating the art? I've done physical sketches and scanned them and am working on a game using this process, but I'm curious how you implemented it here.

Congratulations on entering your first jam! Its a Decent idea, though some collision and timing can be a bit weird. Overall good job

Really great art! I like the controls a lot, though they're a bit tricky to master! I had a bug in the Web version with the text wrapping flickering, but other than that great job!

For me it was all pretty smooth going, (which is pretty unusual lol) but I did have one disaster mid development.  My game revolves around racing against NPC players. the NPCs are just pre recorded ghost data, so any change to the course would get them out of sync. You can probably see where this is going, so I had just finalized 50 ghost data replays, and gave it to some testers, but they didn't like the movement controls and the level was WAY too hard. This meant I had to discard all the ghosts so that I could adjust the physics and course design without any weird playback. I managed to get all the ghosts re-recorded with the help of a friend, but it was a pretty bad mistake! Just another reason to playtest often!

here's the game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3850016

Very solid take on the theme. I really like the simple style, and how straight forward the risk mechanic is. overall very well done.
