You don't need any points in strength for dexterity to raise your damage and hit chance is way better then 25% chance to block. A lot of the strains are just bad, I'll only take Annoying reliably and Heart Skip in an emergency; other than that it's stat boosts for me. Double dexterity can be good if you have any strains left once it's at 30-50.
Neat little game, but not many meaningful choices as it is.
