Absolutely beautiful game! Extremely inspiring too, you guys should be proud. <3

Great presentation and a really cool idea. The randomness never really feels unfair and drives the gameplay well, cool entry!

Yeah we're aware of the cooldown+retry bug, sorry you ran into that, unfortunately no way to fix it until the rating period is over :(

The theme isn't really strong in this one, but the combat actually feels suprisingly polished and fun!

i just click all the fish boxes and dice roll and more fish boxes appear and then i roll more dice and i dont understand why any of this is happening and there's 40 dice on my screen but somehow this is the most enjoyable game ive played yet 10/10

The presentation is very clean and the idea is cool, but I feel like a lot of balancing changes need to be done (if I understood the game correctly). I didn't get much attack dice in my few tries and couldn't even beat the first enemy. All in all it feels like the game is full of the type of randomness where you never feel like you're in control and always at the mercy of what the merchant offers. I think actually rolling the dice during your turn should probably have stronger effects, since know even if going for a big combo turn playing half of my inventory in a single turn doesn't really do that much.

Great sound design, makes the dice movement feel very satisfying!

The game is REALLY loud. The idea is pretty interesting and the gameplay is snappy, but there should be some more visual guidance to how the hit string + blast attacks + dice type are connected. Even after reading the description I'm not sure how it works :>

Fantastic presentation! there seems to be a lot of potential to expand this with more things to bet on and more powers to acquire

clean, fun, puzzle game. i liked the presentation too, its simple, but nice to look at. good job!

Thanks for the feedback, we are really glad you enjoyed it!

We don't have a build on itch.io due to trying to reupload a volume fix a few minutes after the submission period, but you can still check out the game here: https://liutauras.me/gmtk-2021/, sorry for the inconvenience and we hope you still check out our game (feel free to not vote on it).

Hey, thanks for the feedback. You might have played the "broken" build in itch.io. There's a fixed one a bit below in the comments if you want to check it out.

Here's a version built 1 hour after the jam that should at least be playable. Don't take this into account when voting if you feel like that, but  if you came as far to read this, please check it out.

We hit a serious roadblock with and hour or so left to develop, therefore many of the levels are probably broken and there are some visual glitches.
What I'm trying to say this game isn't for any serious contention to compete in the in the jam, but if you want to check out the visual style and get an idea of what the game was supposed to be, you're encouraged to check it out.
