That's exactly what happened with me. Again and again.
As a VFX Supervisor, filmmaker, and photographer, I’m constantly going through folders full of images, trying to pick what works quickly and discard the rest. But I couldn’t find a lightweight, no-fuss tool that focused on just that task.
It got even worse with Gen AI workflows like ComfyUI, where I'm dealing with hundreds of outputs at a time.
So I built a lightweight, ultra-fast image viewer that’s focused on reviewing, marking, and exporting images quickly.
Kalydoscope View doesn’t try to be an image editor — there are better tools for that.
But what it does well is the very task it's designed for: viewing, selecting, and culling images in a folder.
It's already been changing my workflow, and those of my fellow photographers.
