Since s and x are both down, you could use one of those. I would say s makes most sense, then you've got the 8 directions plus the middle button, but people are so used to using wasd that it might be easier to get them to wait on x

You could also get people to use the numpad for movement, which would make it pretty intuitive. Not everyone has a numpad though

Equipping an item or walking into a wall would probably work, but a wait button does sound cool

That's fair enough, if love to see what it's like with the smut, but honestly this might have legs without it. It's a pity you can't do both. Anyway, looking forward to future updates!

Just spitballing ideas here. After a few levels you could unlock a positioning board which lets you turn a number into a fraction if you put it on in the lower slot or a power in the upper slot would be good. Instead of a +2 you could turn it into /2 or ^2. Then maybe an inversion sigil that turns a + into a -, a / into a x and a ^ into a √

That way you're not grinding away at numbers to get to the division, and you'll unlock roots and powers to boot. I dunno, but I agree it's a slog to get to the x3 and /2 every time you need them

Not a bad update. Bit sad the Nora content was so tame, but eh. Slow burn. I will say, these kinds of games are hard when you don't have events and cutscenes. Also, a route where she hides things from you would be nice, but again, hard without events and cutscenes

WASD seems to break occasionally, even in full screen mode

Edit: Repeatable, I just mash the buttons for a little while and they stop working. Also, I can move when I'm supposed to be in a quicktime event, so pressing down can shove me back into the last room. Not sure if that's intended

Edit 2: Resolved

Quite a fun game, and definitely tickles my nostalgia, but when I beat the boss there was no amulet, only three(?) crowns. I searched the level thoroughly, until my sanity dropped and I turned into a rat, then when I left the dungeon it said I'd failed

My strategy was to go full magic, and take the throwing knives. There's plenty of ammo lying around to use as long as you have the skill, and going diagonally lets you retreat fairly easily, as enemies will generally only go in the cardinal directions. Also, if you find the boomerang it's infinite ammo, and if you use the long throw skill, missing does not make you lose it as the tooltip claims.

With thrown weapons as a good source of damage, I was able to invest entirely into magic, then appraise and analyse the scrolls. I was never once able to cast summon lesser beast or fireball, even with my learning skill, but ray of frost came in clutch.

I will say, clicking and dragging for equipping items had me stumped for a good while, until I read the description, as did pressing enter for using doors and ladders. I feel like it's more intuitive to use space for activating things, and clicking an empty equipment slot should allow you to select an item to put there. It might be good to add in the tooltips what slots an item can go in to, some of the items have this, like the dagger, but one of the hats I was very confused where to put it. Wings and tail slots are a bit confusing too.

I am greatly looking forward to the next version of this game, because it's very good, and with a little polish I could see it being incredible. It's got the beginnings of a roguelike I could see myself playing for hours, especially if there were like... classes, and different bosses and dungeons I could run through, maybe an overarching plot. I also think the campfire should restore your sanity a little, that's a pretty common trope

Oh, but... why the Adult tag? That's a little weird for a game like this, there is zero adult content that I found

I don't think I would call this a game, it's... A proof of concept maybe. You put in your name and make one decision, which leads to blowjob or not blowjob. That's the whole thing, takes 10 seconds to play through completely.

If this is your early work, I don't want to discourage you. It all loads and there are no bugs. It's just that there's very little substance here, I'd love to see more

Also, if you click an attack card, then spam click the target before the hit lands you can do infinite damage. That was a fun bug that I found on my last battle xD

I liked that CC's lightning charged up fast, paralysed and did damage, but finisher was good for taking down enemies it had no right to xD

An ending would be nice, but it was a pretty good game. Just a warning to any silly folks out there, do not impregnate your strongest fighter if you have no backups. Also, CC was pretty OP, she was my main

My old man used to call bras "over the shoulder boulder holders"

I almost thought this game was empty, I went into the read me section and noticed that the chapter titles were there, so I assumed that they were just what happened when you clicked them from the console. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have each chapter in the read me link to its chapter in the console, so the read me could be a sort of table of contents. Not bad though, I'd love to see some interactivity in future versions, but this 'tech manual' style has its charms too. Very SCP.

See if you can figure out how to open the toolbox

You need something long to tape to the lever. Check around the fireplace you had to light earlier

You need it later in the game, for a puzzle involving a counterweight

Wow, I dunno what to say. This game was incredibly good, and way more polished than you'd expect for a first game. I wouldn't say no to a scene replay option, but good job. This feels very Sierra-like in the best ways, the puzzles make sense, and while this chapter DOES end on a cliffhanger, it is at least a satisfying cliffhanger.

I'm looking forward to Chapter 2, this game took me about 2-3 hours, but it felt very intuitive. If you get stuck, walk around and look for other rooms. The music room was one I didn't find until right at the end, but it was also the last room I needed to be in, so that's fine.

Do you have a Discord?

I was playing the browser version of the game

The first puzzle where you collect items is broken on mobile browsers. You can't click the item that's near "auto"

This perplexing game kept me enthralled for hours. At first, it seems to be some strange toiletpaper-roll lookin art-tube, that rotats randomly whenever you click the screen, but as the hours and days rolled by I slowly discovered that this was a metaphor. I have no idea what the metaphor is for though, as I am lost within the confines of the tube now. Please send help. I am afraid.

And what's the point in asking if you wanna fuck if no isn't an option? It's not consent if there's no turning it down

Edit: 30 minutes of gameplay later. Ho boy, a third "wanna do some anal yes/yes". Joy

I don't love how all the anal stuff is like "Do you like anal? yes/absolutely"
It would be nice, and I can't imagine hard to code, if some of the scenes were skippable. I don't want to be molested by a plant *in that way*, can we not block off game content if I wanna skip it? :/

I don't know where I would even upload that 💀

I'll buy it so y'all don't have to. Initial thought is that it's kind of a cheap game with bad writing and AI art, but I will update my comment after I've played the full version
