Pretty fun listen, could very well imagine it in an arcade setting. The track track feels a little segmented though, not in a large sense, but the individual measures feel seperate from eachother (I can feel the seperating lines in the DAW), maybe it would have helped with some background melody that glued the measures together.

Sorry for not explaining well, still a really fun track which is creative and fits the theme.

: ]

Thank you for the feedback, thats actually pretty solid advice

I think it follows the theme pretty well though. When watched the image and a title I imagined those moments when the sun seems frozen beyond the horizon, and thought about what it would be like if that really were the case. Maybe the world doesn't have seasons, but thats because I imagined it as always being in a summer like state regardless of how it would work physically. I think the music captures the vibes of twilight and introspectively melancholy nights well enough to fit the theme. I wanted to make more tracks to drive the point home, but I vastly overrated the amount of time I would have.

Regardless,I am sorry that it didn't come through to you.

Thank you for your feedback, you are right about it needing more automation and dynamics, thats something I should have put more effort into. Maybe night belt could have used a bit more, but that would take away from my concept, which was quiet solitude, I think it would have been easy to overdo it, although thats not to say that its no possible. Idk.

Thank you again for your feedback, I will think about it and try to maybe implement some of it later down the line.

thank you, I worked hard on the orchestration : ]

Thank you, thats really nice : ]

Hi, really awesome orchestration, love the interplay between the instruments. My favorite is blue summer!

Awesome vibes, I love all the guitar parts working together, it feels so damn warm. The synth parts feed nicely into the vibe although simetimes a bit repetative. I really like it overall and can imagine myself listening to it so sometimes.

Hi, I cannot find any files to listen to. Please reply to this if you manage to fix it, so that I get notified and can listen to it : ]

Really good feels on this one! Great work!

My favorite part is the bossa nova section, and how it transitions into the more rock heavy part. The chord progression is really satisfying, and the little notes the piano plays throughout sell it nicely.

I also like the ending. With how the chords progress, it feels really open ended, no clear resolution, which fits nicely into the whole theme of freedom.

I would have maybe worked a bit more on mixing. The drums were a bit loud to me and overshadowed other instruments.

:]

Awesome track!

I love how dynamic it is, all the musical themes and ideas fit into one complete song.

The orchestration and songwriting on display is just fantastic, really great work!

:]

Thank you! That's really kind :]

I really liked the sounds you used, amd the feel they created. I would have liked it if there was a bit more melody throughout them, something to really keep them fresh throughout their runtimes.

Great work!

:]

Really awesome submission!

Very reserved, but also exciting when it has to.

I like the piano melodies, and the strings that acconpany it.

Great wor!

:]

First of all, awesome artwork.

The track was also great, though not totally my style, I can see how it would perfectly in the game you described. : ]

Sheeeesh, it shows that there was thought behimd this.

I really like the percussion driving the main part of the track, but the beginning sold me from the first few seconds already, I really like the crackling and the orchestral chord changes during that.

The guitar at the end was really well mixed and fit like a glove.

I would have liked to see elements of the beginning section return at the end as a bookend, but it was great as is.

Great work!

:]

Some more melodicity could have helped, but I'd rather extend the songs and put some more ideas in that way, than cram them in to the existing songs. Maybe I'll do that sometime : ]

Thanks for the feedback!

: ]

Holy hell, this score slaps like hell! I love all the melodies and the progression throughout!

The blend of 8-bit and modern is so captivating to listen to, and you managed to capture the energy of these titles so flawlessly.

Genuinely one of my favorite submissions!

Great work!

:]

Really good voice, I also love the guitar acconpanyment. It had a great distorted to it. The lyrics also fit the theme really well, also props for doing an entire song with vocals in just 48 hours.

Great work!

: ]

cool vibes, and smart instrument choices! The second track definately feels better than the first, the dissonant tones work together pretty nice. I can imagine an exciting battle to this. I wish there had been an extra instrument in the midrange at the end of the second track. Something to give it a bit more punch.

Really creative and ominous overall!

Great work!

: ]

Thank you so much for your feedback!

The swing came by accident, when I was messing around with the delay, but I kept it around because it was cool, I feel like the straight 8th notes sounded nice, but I'll try to match and see if it's better.

Maybe you're right about the trumpets. I'll try a distorted guitar and a synth, and see if it fits better. About tying it all together, I wanted to do that with leitmotifs and such, maybe a fourth track that used elements of all the previous ones, but I was already in a huge crunch with the third track, there was no time to connecting work.

Thank you for taking your time to listen and review my music. : ]

Such a fun song!

This is hands down the nost original score I've listened to among the submission, so congrats on that.

I love you vocals throughout, you have a nice voice that complements this style.

I wish you could have recorded a piano a bit better, but I'm sure you were under a lot of time pressure and such.

Great work!

:]

I really like Sunset city!! Awesome track, with a great line and lots of variation throughout.

For "The rest of me can't fly",  first of all, I really like the tile already, then the music itself os also great, the starting chords are beautiful, and the melodies following it a great too. I do wish however, you would have stuck with the chords a bit longer, they were really nice.

I would have loved to hear what you come up with for Diurnial Desert

: ]

Really nice piece, love the orchestration and composition. I like how restrained it feels, nothing is competing with anything else, it's not fully bombastic all the way, but brings out the brass and strings when it needs to.

Awesome music!

:]

Great work!

Track 1-The free city: I really like the medieval feel to it, I think it fits the whole freedom theme you were going for. The switchup at 0:25 felt really interestion and at home within the track. The main melodic line of the flute was really catchy and fun, although I wish something more would have been added to it the last time it came around to spice things up.

Track 2-Final victory: I love the composition on this one! The way the choir complements the chord movements and how the brass gives the entire piece a grand feel. i also like how you didn't overuse the drums, but instead used them sparingly. My only note would be to maybe change the melodies up a little bit more, give them here and there some interesting rythm or harmony to keep them fresh and exciting!

Awesome tracks, great feel to both. I would love to hear more in this style

: ]

Great work!

I love to hear a track fully utilising the guitar. Love the tone on the background guitar, it really gave a punch to the whole feel.

I also like your use of rythm in the melodies, espessially when the triplets hit at 1:30 and the melodic line after 2:00

The track could have been better mixed, the lead guitar didn't really have the punch it deserved. Maybe if you double tracked it or raised it's volume, that would help.

Otherwise, a really great composition, and it's really impressive that you improvised a lot of this.

It was a treat to listen to!

: ]

OOooo, i really like this OST. The story really shone through the tracks, and they all felt varied yet consistent.

Crazy cool melodies in "screw him", loved the vibes on that one. Felt like The Incredibles on steroids. I would love to hear a full version of this.

I also really liked listening to "...Again?" It had the right amount of whimsy, melancholy and mundanity.

Great work!

:]

Yo, I love the concept, and I think it would work wonders withing the actual game you describe. It feels a bit repetative and slow in "song form" though.

I really like the bass melodies throughout however, along with the general vibes. The psychodelic feelings and "fever dreamishness" you describe definately came through!

Great work!

: ]

Really nice, short pieces of music! I think the fact that the whole soundtrack is only like 4 minutes long really helps it. The songs always felt fresh and exciting!

My favorites were "The chase" and Rebel woods. They felt really unique with their sounds and melodies.

Awesome work!

: ]

Thank you, that's kind of you!

Thanks!

Really cool music! Insane that you managed this in 48 hours.

I think the constant use of hall monitor effect war pretty creative, and a welcome addition to the instruments, but you could have mixed it better. As it stands it stands out a bit in some tracks.

My favorite tracks were Awoken, Eagle mode and A moment alone

Great work all around!

: ]

I also really like your artwork, feels like 2000-s arcade style. Fits your gane nicely.

It's incredible that you managed to put out this much varied music in so little time!

My favorite is one man army, you nailed the percussion on that one.

Nice work

: ]

Man, this is definately one of my favorite submissions. It fits the theme perfectly in my opinion, not just in story but in  "musical vibes" as well.

Track1: Really nice ambient track. You managed to have it be perfect for background music while not being too repetative, all the while it is a pleasant song. That is not an easy feat I'm sure.

Track 2: It really clearly encapsulates the emotion of searching for mystical answers. Perhaps this is the one I can most imagine in a real videogame setting.

Track 3: This one had me rocking out in my chair. The bass, the melody, everything comes together to make an absolute banger.

Great work!

:]

I don't know what you are on about, this is great. It doesn't sound undeveloped to me, it has the right amount of ambiance.

I really like the instruments, and the effects used on them, they all complement eachother very well.

This is a really nice track, and having done it in three hours is quite the feat.

Great work! :]

Ohhh, these have a real nice groove : ]

The first two felt a bit repetative, however I really enjoyed  "Any bakers dozen". It had that It factor you know. The beat and groove was on another level, the bass line underneath the saxophone made for such a cool combo, and the silent piano sprinkled throughout was the final touch it needed to really hit.

Great work!

:]

Thank you so much

: ]

Thank you for the feedback, I'm inclined to agree about the second track, however I'm not sure what I could have done about song 3. Any suggestions

Thank you so much, thats really kind. I worked a lot on the mixing, and I just love hardpanned melodies. I still have tp figure out what sidechaining is tho, I kinda just manually adjusted shit untill it sounded cool.

Gonna figure it out untill next time

:]

All of these tracks are really beautiful, you use rythm and melodies in such an interesting and fun way, it's a treat to listen to.

I really like the beat and percussion you put on them, it takes it all to the next level.

I can truly imagine the gane you describe next to these songs, but I could maybe imagine these in a rythm game even more, a beat saber level with these would knock peoples socks off.

Great work!

:]
