Me neither, I couldn't understand what the fire was for. Is it just to burn stuff if you don't want it anymore?

If you want my feedback, I don't like the game. It sort of like plays itself, I just press buttons, like a clicker game. That is not my type of game.
I think it could be improved if you added more story, like why am I there controlling the balls, and who is attacking me.
However, I see the effort put into it.
Thanks
I know the gameplay is not the best, but I wanted to make something about plants xD
And well, I have coded before but not too much **game dev** coding, but I learned a lot and this just motivates me to learn even more and participate once again in jams
And I hope that I will be able to make games like yours xd
thankyouu ^^
I know it is too simple, i was short on ideas 😓. But I learn a lot of things about Godot, so I hope the next one will be better.
The character, I found it on opengameart, all credits are in a credits file, I forgot to put them in the page.
For the "story", or the gameplay, I wanted the player to grow flowers because I know how to do that, I just didn't know how to program it. I wanted the player to water the roots until the plant was big enough, but that seemed too hard and I really wanted to finish this fas, so I made it easy, water the top of the flower, and it would copy itself on top. Not very reallistic but a little more funny
Hii, nice to meet you all! I know many languages, but mostly for algorithms and math stuff. I am learning game development now with GDScript, I had made some games with Unity and Phaser before, but kind of forgot everything, so now I'm restarting, once again. I have bad creativity to create stories, but I like coding and some visual arts (pixelart, a little Krita). I have Discord but I'd prefer not to use it, I use almost any other messaging alternatives (Matrix, Signal, XMPP). Also, this is the first jam I participate in ever. Before, I was too shy to join one xD. I am amazed seeing some people's games, there are all genres here.
I actually found my game in the submitted projects :o

I created it by clicking "Upload project" directly on the submission form. I wonder if that's why. However, the main page still asks for submitting projects. Is it because people can participate with multiple games?
Good luck with your game FlapperStudios!
Hello
I created my game, but now can't publish it. It is on <https://simx72.itch.io/grow-a-flower>. But when I try to select it on the submission form, only old projects appear in the list.
Do you know about any "wait time" or requirement related to this?
The game was built in godot, and exported only to HTML
Thanks.
