I decided to make the player a bunny, but then I ran out of time to draw any graphics unfortunately. I'm not good at graphics anyway. But I had a friend of mine make the music! I agree, it's very nice music.
One day there will be bananas, but I ran out of time to make them before I submitted it. I'm thinking bananas will be points to collect. Or maybe speed boosts.
Thank you so much! Having something to track points or distance would definitely make the game more exciting, and I also think that an indicator for the slime is a great idea! I noticed after submitting it that it's most enjoyable when the slime is right on your tail but not too fast, which is not likely with the current speed and acceleration I set up. I'll definitely make some changes to that.
Very fun! I played this game for a while and enjoyed it. The movement seemed like it would be a pain but it was actually a good balance of controllable but challenging. I like the idea of roller-skating the whole time. And shooting a barrage of acorns at the penguins was very satisfying like C-Tor said
The art and sound are great and the gameplay concept seems fun. It is very much a demo but it's a great start! There seems to be a glitch where the first time I play through I end up unable to take any flames until I restart. Also the story might have some problems with the gameplay. It seems more like collecting dreams from dead elves than protecting children's dreams.
But I enjoyed playing this demo, thank you for making it!
Very cool! I enjoyed playing. I like the music and the atmosphere.
The snowmen seemed to be trying to throw snowballs but most of the time nothing would happen. So I think it would be great if you make the snowmen act scarier by making them move faster and pose more of a threat to you.
Also you are able to jump so I think it would be cool if you make more of a 2 dimensional aspect to the area. Maybe add some places to jump onto or some ramps and bridges.
