Thanks for playing. :)

If you have a minute for one question: when you stopped, was it that the next thing was too far away, or that you'd seen enough to know what the rest would be?

I made a small idle game and this is the first thing I have ever put in front of strangers.

You run a crew that collects protection money on three city streets. You start with ten dollars and one shop, buy the next door, hire a man to walk the block, and the money starts coming in on its own. After a couple of doors the local crime family notices you and wants an envelope every five minutes. The second street belongs to a rival, so every shop there has to be taken with your crew standing on the corner and a clock running. The third street has a police station on it, which is why nobody else wanted it.

It plays in the browser, free, no account, no ads, nothing to buy. It keeps earning while you are away, and a full run takes about half an hour. If you want something to do with your hands there are three small optional bits: counting the cash, cracking a safe, burning the books when the police come.

I built it to find out whether this loop is worth building on, and I can't answer that myself any more. If you play and stop before the end, the one thing I'd love to know is which minute you stopped at and why. Reply here or on the game page.
