The melancholy damage was felt all the way, from out of the computer screen, into the real world.

Thank you! Glad to hear you liked it!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed them! :)

I have not? It's still there - though it's on the jam entry page rather than the game page. Maybe that's what made you think it was gone?

Thanks! Yeah, I've always appreciate "down-sized" adventures. I blame Toy Story and A Bugs Life being some of my favorite movies as a kid, haha.

Thank you!

At least that's the benefit of a mockup jam like this... don't need to fully figure everything out, heh!

Very glad to hear that! Thank you!

Thank you, much appreciated!

Thank you! Yeah, I feel like a top-down perspective could really help sell the idea of the small scale of the game's world.

Thank you!

Ooh, always fun to see how a design evolves - thank you for sharing!

Love the concept. I'm surprised a Pacific Rim-inspired co-op game hasn't been done before!

This feels like it would be really satisfying to play. Just getting to see the entire area have its grass cut bit by bit. Nice work!

This definitely seems like the kinda game that would find a dedicated fan audience! Nessie's design is really cute!

Incredible artwork and color palette!

Lovely artwork, and interesting concept! The writing in the screenshots would definitely make me curious to find out more about this world!

I dig the color palette. The screenshots definitely feel intriguing, and I'd love to explore those environments!

I love the clean, diorama-esque vibe to the scenes. Really fantastic work with the visuals here - and the concept itself also seems like it would make for a genuinely fun and charming experience!

That shader really does look neat. The diagonal line shading is super stylish!

Really lovely artwork and UI design. I love the detail of being able to see text from a different page through the hole in the book!

Fantastic work! It's neat seeing a THPS inspired gameplay distilled to something 2D and working on mobile. The artwork is really cute too, and I adore the concept of the mimic ramp!

Really neat UI work - I love how having the focus on both the team, freighter and system in view at the same time really conveys a sense of scale.

I definitely agree that it would be fun to have a high-stakes mystery game where you can lock yourself into a dark fate if you don't play your cards right! Nice work!

Love the concept - had to show it to my wife, who has been trying to befriend the crows in our neighborhood, haha! This could definitely offer some really fun narratives and surprises!

Lovely artwork! I especially like the almost icon-esque, simplified whale and fish as a distant background element.

This kinda game always is nice, and I like the unique spin your themes and visuals put on it!

This is really fantastic. Great artwork and a great concept (well-explained too). I love the character design especially. That otter character is my favorite!

Definitely one of the most unique dating sim concepts I've seen so far! Also lmao the soundtrack

The characters gave me a good chuckle. Nice work!

Neat artwork and slick UI design!

It's fun seeing other comic authors also play with the idea of turning their comic into a visual novel. Really lovely artwork here, I'll need to check out your comic some time!

This is a really interesting and fun concept. I'd be very interesting in trying this out if it was a real game!

Nice work with this, it definitely looks like something I'd be curious to play. Also love those installation instructions hahaha

This is absolutely incredible. Fantastic visual style, incredibly solid UI design and lots of intrigue. I'm getting a good idea of how the game could feel to play just from the screenshots, and I want it to be real!

I absolutely love the idea of a cute, unassuming game like this hiding some darker secrets, hahaha! Really nice job with the artwork!

This would definitely be an interesting and unique theme for a shooter! I also really like that the mockups were drawn on a whiteboard. To me, it really underlines that you don't need to make things look typically game-like (with pixel art or whatever) to get the idea of a game across, and that feels really in tune with the spirit of this game jam!

This looks really intriguing! I like the glitchy/recursive effects on the thumbnail.

Neat take on a QWOP style game!
