Really enjoyed it. Got to two out of five endings. I thought it was very well written!
The approach to its near future world building is great! It was intriguing to consider whether "content" becomes something that passes the test of time in terms of cultural relevance. I also liked the merging of pottery and VR as another concept.
The workplace infatuation story was equally interesting, and felt like a fun pairing with Crazy Ex Girlfriend (which my wife was I had been watching lately), where there's a lot of those kinda plots too, haha. The most biting aspect was that the husband's character is always just that - "husband", never named.
The character dealing with complicated feelings from a difficult pregnancy felt relatable and was cool to see represented. It already being an element in Skillick's Bride makes me assume that inspiration was taken from lived experiences that I don't see talked about that much, so I really respect that.
It's also interesting to see the Mormon angle pop up in this game, too. I liked the moment where the player character picks up on another character's actions and wonders if they're a sign of them sharing the religion - even though I'm not Mormon I could relate to that.
Finally, I appreciate the outcome not dramatically changing, just in how it plays out and what choices the player made to get there. Always a cool aspect of Interactive Fiction!
