I love the detail, especially how you did the water - and still stuck to the limitation. 

(oh and I just realized that "underwater trailer" didn't mean like a movie trailer but literally the sunken trailer lol. I was gonna ask, hey is that a sunken caravan, and then I was like what's another word for caravan -  then it hit me XD)

The art is so awesome. The boxy character is so loveable and I like how upon retry there's this inception like zoom out into the same room. The music is cool and complements the spacey background, and the voice was hilarious.

My best score was a two, but I'm sure I can get a one.

Thanks, and sorry. Apparently a lot of people found it confusing. I'm gonna quote myself here:

 "The love meter goes up when you collect salsa (cuz ur like doing this errand for nacho lady) but this decreases your morale (because it's a truly demeaning task. I mean - the salsa looks like poo) To regain morale you interact with cousin Junior, and you gain love faster than regaining morale."

I sorta rushed the development in the beginning and when I got a working prototype I just submitted. I will surely manage my time in future jams.. Thanks for playing!

This game was certainly very buggy (for collisions, jumping), but still a nice little game.  I don't know about the music though

The shader was a bit too glaring for me, but nice little game! The jump physics could be slightly improved but overall the mechanics were well polished, and everything in the game had its purpose and made sense. nice work!

There was no limiter so I could spam jump, and the game pretty much became open world flappy bird. also some more friction would have been nice.

Loved the game! The mechanics and art were great. I'm smol brain when it comes to playing games, so I had to cheat and read other people's comments to move forward, and yay I got to the previous levels. I never got past the red room scene though. great job!

I had a hard time with the jumps, cuz like the walls had friction I think. Also, when the player turns purple, the right and left controls switched - Idk if that's just a feature rather than a bug.

otherwise, my rating was quite high because of the handdrawn art and story. I just loved it :)

Amazing controls and mechanics. There was a little less friction than I'd have liked, but all in all this was almost too good for a  72 hr game jam :D

This is so cool and the art is so distinct and awesome. I loved the evolving mechanic, and the animation for each form coupled with the SFXes was great! great work

This is the closest I've gotten to being the cool kid. Well, in this case, I'm the only kid.

The art and sound were top of the line, and the overall game has smooth mechanics. There was this bug (I think) where when jumping off of a ledge after briefly grappling onto it, I would teleport onto the platform connected to the ledge.  The first time it happened I glitch out of the alien's way , letting her fall to her death, but other times it made me teleport into her deadly smootches.

And the little speech bubbles were hilarious XD

This is truly a masterpiece, and everything about it blew me away. I actually felt kinda sad rolling about (lol). One of the best games I've played of late. 

The controls kinda gave me a hard time, and I wasn't sure about there being much progression.. I think the no losing or winning is a nice concept, the art and music was pretty good, and yeah. I love parrots too. nice work!

could you release a desktop build? the webgl ain't loading for me for some reason

I think that for a game made in less than three days it's gorgeous, and the music complements the art greatly. You created such a great atmosphere, especially in the resurrection sequence. The web player wasn't loading for me so i had to download it, and the give up button (lol i tried) didn't work. I couldn't feel a sense of progression, other than the slight variation in enemy spawns.
still a solid submission, all things considered. great job!
