Why would Hideo Kojima say this?

I am awake. We just went on a spree at the very end of the time to retile our levels with sprites, which caused a whole host of small design changes and a lot of adrenaline. We're building and ready to submit now, just hoping it doesn't take 45 mins to do so lol.

We decided to make a puzzle-platformer with the main mechanic being that the player controls two toucans simultaneously, and can desync their movement and beak position to solve puzzles. The goal of each level is to get the two toucans to reach each other outside of their starting positions. Most of today was spent ironing out the base concepts and adding a few demo levels for a strong core/proof-of-concept, so we'll use tomorrow to clean up the game, add more playable content, and get it ready to publish

We're planning on making a platformer of sorts, maybe styled like an arcade game or a puzzler. We took inspiration for the movement from real-life Toucan movement - our Toucan player hops in the same way, and has a highly modular beak - but from there we have to finalize a concrete concept for the gameplay and design around it to make a full game.
