The game fit the time constraints and theme for both. And I didn’t see anything saying you couldn’t do that. Is that not allowed?

Cool game. Not bad looking.
Here's my advice which you might or might not agree with.

I think it needs more variety. (Upgrades for your bow, Maybe some other enemies or a boss.)

The auto shooting mechanic is interesting. It puts a greater emphasis on positioning the player as the main gameplay mechanic. I would work on the shooting.

The plot just doesn't make that much sense. I would either just give up on that aspect of the game, or try to do more showing rather than telling. For instance instead of saying "The robots did this and now you have to do this" you might have a little cutscene where the robots steal the heart. Or something like that.

Oh no my girlfriend was disappointed with me. I only scored 64.

Nice little game but doesn't really seem like it was for the theme.

Trying to get a high score is fun. The art style is pretty neat.

Thank you for the kind words! I thought it would be funny to make music suck in areas where the character doesn't like being there but I think it ends up being too annoying.

This game is not for me, but I hope it reaches the target audience.

It would have been better with a more cohesive art style, I don't think everything matched well. But good game nonetheless. I enjoyed sneaking around

Movement was all messed up but the skill point and visuals looked cool.

Movement and collisions were pretty bad. Other than that pretty cool game. I liked the characters and the cover art is pretty sick.

Great music and cool concept, It wasn't really that hard I don't think and there wasn't enough visual feedback. Obviously to be expected in a short time. I think its a great prototype

Awesome game. reminds me of the movie "the lighthouse" which I haven't seen yet, but I bet it would be pretty similar to this.

Solid Game. I the hook mechanics are interesting and fun but a little weird since the rope is stiff. It would be cool if it was one of those wooden hooks with a set length. pretty cool though, good job

Pretty cool game. I liked the music in the sixties van when you were just walking around. That was my favorite

Pretty solid game, a bug i noticed is that you made it so the instead of using key press to switch left walking sprite to right walking sprite try using key down and switch if the key is down. Otherwise your character will walk backwards

Great game, I wish it had a little more satisfying combat and some sound would really improve the game. Great start for a game in the time allocated.
