REALLY well done! This was a lot of fun to play!

37 boings! Great game!

Thanks for playing!

It took a little to understand the gameplay but when I got it, it was fun! Not sure if flying around makes a difference or not though.

Fits the theme very well! Graphics and audio are good, but the gameplay is a bit confusing and not that challenging.

Thank you for playing! The castle is great right??

This is very well done. The graphics, the features, the polish, it's great. Unfortunately the gameplay feels lacking. There's a lot going on but it just doesn't feel fun or rewarding at all. You get rewarded mythic stuff for pressing on a level on the map.

Take a look at my submission! https://itch.io/jam/brainless-game-jam/rate/4745240

Thanks for the positive review! I would've loved to add a cool win screen but I really didn't have any time left to do more polishing. Your ideas sound great though!

I get it, it's heavily inspired by Papers Please, but the gameplay loop of having to type a number over and over became tedious right away. PP relied on your ability to find and memorize the conditions of valid documents, but it seems you completely rely on typing numbers in this case.

It took me quite a while to understand the cabinets were platform. Really cool idea to use the tv as a gameplay element.

Really great art and I loved the choice of music. The gameplay was a bit too frustrating for me.

I'd love to get some more ratings! I'll check out your submissions right away.

I really liked the Runner unit because upgrading and buying more of them gives a good sense of progression. Buffing them with Haste from the Mage Tower made it even better!

Thank you for playing! Yeah the towers in the middle bring an extra objective to it!

Thanks for playing! The hops are really cute eh?

This was amazing! Really great concept with good gameplay and some comedy. I unlocked every upgrade and wish I could have removed the sword.

I liked the theme, but unless I didn't understand something there's not really any gameplay except for topping up bars for food and medicine?

Cute game! The premise is pretty simple but it was enjoyable to play. I earned enough cash for the cat to buy his thing.

Challenging game but quite fun!

What inspired the idea for your game?

Warcraft Rumble! I remembered it because you play with miniatures and thought hey the gameplay isn't too complex, so let's try to recreate it

What did you enjoy the most? (coding, art, music, whatever!)

My favorite part is always picking/making music, editing SFX and adding visual polish

What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome during the jam?

Creating 3d models that looked somewhat okay-ish with the very little skill I have in modeling

I never knew gnomes could be so creepy, toxic and...explosive!

Really liked the Lemmings like gameplay. The SFX also gave me a laugh because they sound so funny.

Thanks!!

Thank you for playing! I couldn't think of any way to make simple character models that would look good so i kept them as basic as possible.

I was very impressed with the visuals! The game has very good vibes overall and I enjoyed walking around looking at the animals on display.

I didn't quite understand what you're supposed to do. My guess was using the notebook to connect the animals to their source of food, but there was simply not enough information on what you actually had to do. One could also just guess which name belonged to what animal. All in all a very difficult challenge to achieve with only a few lines of information per animal and I didn't complete the game.

I really like how you can spin the planet around to explore it (I made a similar game last jam!). It was a bit confusing at first what to build but it made sense when I saw it's similar to most factory games.

The visuals are quite nice and I could tell quite some effort went into them, as was for the music as well. I didn't quite understand if there was a goal to achieve though, so building felt a bit pointless.

(1 edit)

Interesting use of the theme. The game has a bit of everything, but despite having a few combat mechanics that should could be interesting, they don't really work as the enemies just spam their attacks, making the best strategy to just try to attack faster than the enemy and not die first.

I really enjoyed the music by the way!

Thank you for playing! Yeah the sfx weren't perfect but I'm happy you enjoyed the overall vibe!

Quite challenging but I like the charged jump! :D

A really funny and original idea to have it like a stream!
