I originally had the look and use icons in the UI, and then got rid of because it broke the immersion. I’ve already changed the UI to be use only, but obviously can’t change for the jam. Thanks so much for playing.

Thanks for playing. Normally I work in a duo, but we decided to do our own games for this Jam. So this was a completely solo effort. I’ve since made a change to the game to not require the looking into the bath to be able to get the study key. I really hope you and the others who missed the key are able to come back an experience the ending, as it really ramps up.
My best friend also developed a game for this jam, 3:46am. I recommend it highly
When I first started playing I thought I had to run my robots electricity down so I was running away hoping to get it down. Then i realised that I just had to play keep away. In its current form I just let a bunch of humans touch me until there was like 10 left and then I’d run away again. Cool concept, just needs a little more challenge. Nice art and audio work, and the narrative was great.
This was a fun puzzle platformer. I have a couple of notes
- Would have liked some sort of feedback as to when I had electricity.
- Needed some way to determine which plug I was getting electricity for.
- Would have preferred to start from the beginning of the current level when I died.
- Oh the state doesn’t seem to clear on death, so you can just use the previous electricity you collected and waltz through the levels.
Other than that, nice art and music. I can definitely see this being a larger game.
I’m currently working on the VR version which I’ll look to incorporate all these suggestions. Which I’ll then backport into the post jam version.
Once I had put all the basic parts that were required, I spent so much time getting the audio and a few bugs fixed up that I ran out of time to add more interactables and places to investigate.
I had planned more but 10 days was more limiting than I expected. I get your point about looking and using. I’ll see how simplifying feels. I come from a very point and click heavy childhood so looking and using is what I expect.
Thanks so much for playing and the feedback.
And as for the hint… anytime (but you shouldn’t have needed it if I had actually telegraphed it better.)
