This is such a solid game for a game jam. Considering you built so many levels and different mechanics is amazing. The game feels really nice to play and control, with a bit more juice it could really hook from the very beginning.
Great job!
This is such a unique game. It was very intriguing and I tried my best to find the spot but I couldn't. I had the whole island explored. I just couldn't figure out where to go. I was in the top right area of the island.
But that might a skill issue. I think I explored the whole island before I figured out I needed to turn on the radio. I thought I am just not getting any signal.
Great game. I would love some improvements like allowing to move more than one tile because it was annoying to click every tile.
Good luck :)
This is a such a great game especially since you did everything yourself. How did you even have the time to do all of this! Plus the breath of skills required for this. Hats off to you!
Like mentioned otherwise, the controls are a bit hard. I couldn't tell if I have successfully done something or not.
But that would be an easier fix as you keep building on this.
If you make a new build, let me know. Would love to try it out.
This is great but spooky.
I was intrigued by how we have to type to move around and go from room to room. I like typing games. I have played a few and built one before so its always fun to see others like this.
I did have trouble using the 'Look' command though, it doesn't seem to be doing anything as far as I can tell. Maybe I wasn't doing something properly?
Great game, and good luck!
This is such a great game and considering it's solo + first game dev experience (according to the description), this is superb.
The power-ups were great, tho I did feel like I had to keep choosing even though there's no challenge.
If you update this game after the jam, let me know I would love to play it again.
This is an absolutely brilliant game. I love this.
The puzzle is unlike anything I have played, the colours are pretty and work together perfectly. And the animation to change the colour: WOW!
If you ever write a devlog or make a video on how you made this game, I would absolutely love to see it. Especially the aesthetics.
5 stars. Perfect game!
Hey this is a really great game!
I was a bit confused when I started cause I thought we have to climb up in this game but we start going down. But I just kept going and progressing.
Art and effects are pretty cool and nicely polished. And the perks were great, but I kept getting only attack speed after a certain point.
There were a few bugs at times when the enemies would randomly disappeared and it was hard for me to figure out if I have hit an enemy or gotten hit.
But great game and if you develop this further let me know!
Hey
This is very cool idea and you should definitely make another update to this. I struggled to play this in the browser, I felt like there were times where the gun wouldn't shoot or do anything. Sometimes, I couldn't even rotate with mouse.
I am hoping that it is just the browser which is causing all of this issues (most likely). Because of this I couldn't really try any of the core gameplay as I would die before that. A little modification + music would elevate the current gameplay.
Good luck :)
Hey
This is a surprisingly great game. The motions and movement is super smooth. I will admit I couldn't score even one goal because I couldn't generate any power. I think that might need some improvement because the CPU just smacks the ball and I couldn't figure out how to.
I don't know if there was any music so can't comment on that but still this was actually a lot of fun. This is also one of the type of games I would like to learn to make so if you ever write a blog or video on how this was made, you at least got one viewer
Good luck
Hey this is just like walking my dog, 5 stars for accuracy :)
Seriously tho, this is one of the most innovative games I have played and it's pretty solid. The pull mechanic is a little confusing because I don't understand or it's not obvious what it does.
The artstyle and music are perfect.
Good luck :)
Hey
This is a really interesting idea and the game being 3D makes it even more compelling. The music is perfect and the simple artstyle, calming colours makes it nice and comfortable.
I did struggle with the game tho. I couldn't figure out the controls properly, everytime I would press glide, none of the direction arrows worked. Combined with the mouse pointer changing the direction made it really difficult for me to do anything so I couldn't even get to any person let alone try the time travelling mechanic.
I am really interested in the game tho so wouldn't mind seeing an updated version in the future and try this game out again.
Good luck :)
Nice and simple but still a lot of fun. I recognise those Kenney assets as I was gonna use the same asset pack.
I like the idea of the power-ups and everything, they fit in well with the increasing chaos of the game. Saying that, the money thing was a bit confusing at first but I understood it.
I would say you should definitely develop this further. It's a nice idea and with a little music, this would be a lot more fun.
Hey
Dang this game is good and extremely polished. The fact that there is tutorials is great for a jam because in most cases it's difficult to figure out what is to be done in a game. The simple controls and aim make it really fun.
I did struggle with the game on web version that it froze at times. But it doesn't take away from the fun I had while playing it.
I would ask that there be more control options while playing the game, using only the mouse is not great for long game time.
Good luck :)
Hey
I can't believe you built something like this in a week. Amazing work. The neon aesthetic is pretty and the music suits it well.
I struggled with the gameplay a little tho. I found that the mouse movement was somethings unresponsive and I couldn't really shoot/slash if I had the movement keys pressed. I don't know if it was because of my laptop power or if there was something else.
Good game still, and look forward to seeing where you take it from here :)
Hey
I love these kinds of games and I am glad I got to play one here. This could work very well in an expanded setting and I would highly recommend going for it (of course only if you enjoy it too). Wouldn't mind play testing more versions.
I really enjoyed the easy gameplay, and any kind of management game is definitely my jam. Did you make the assets and everything yourself? They look great.
I played this twice but I only got sound the second time. I don't know why. I also had difficulty starting the game, had to click on the area a couple of times.
Good luck :)
Hey
This is a cool game, and when I saw that you had so many levels built I was shocked.
I don't think I played more than a few levels but what I did was fun.
First of all, the music is perfectly suited to the game. Great selection/composition there.
Secondly, I am a little jealous because the look and feel of your game is what I was trying to with my game but I failed there too (and I probably made a few extra bugs). Good on you.
Like other comments, I struggled a bit with figuring out the direction of the projectile. It took a while and I think it just needs projectile path to make it easy to understand.
Good luck :)
Hey
This is a nice game. I can see from other comments that people were having problems on Web version but so far I haven't had any issues and I am also using firefox. Maybe the processing power?
The waypoint system was nice change on the click and go system, but I struggled to figure out the range of the player. At one point I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't create a waypoint where I was clicking and it was because of where my player was standing. So if you develop this further, maybe you need a way to indicate this.
Good luck!
This was a lot of fun, but the difficulty ramps up so quickly. I enjoyed this and felt like a prude interrupting some nice nice time for bunnies :)
The leaderboard was nice, did you make your own or did you use a plugin?
I would definitely like to see this developed further so let me know if you do update the game :)
Hey
This is a very innovative game, I don't think I have seen anything like this before. The music and the game art is pretty good and relaxing. If you can release a 10 hour long loop of the game audio, I would be listening to it during work hahaha
I did notice a few issues though. The game doesn't full screen so the resolution is fixed. The character's animation doesn't change if the bar is in red or green. When the game progresses to the red/green floating bubbles, the sound of bubbles being popped eventually stops and in that level the resolution is even smaller.
These are overall small things but I can say I enjoyed the game. Good luck :)
