Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write this, really appreciate it. Glad to know the physics appeal to you now, your feedback on the earlier demo was crucial to help me rework it. About the pause bug, thanks for pointing it out, I'm aware of it but I need to fix some things with how different systems handle input to have this sorted (I know a way to duct-tape it for now, but don't wanna take that route).

I'll give more details on your other queries in some time, because there're several things in the gameplay/progression that even I'm yet to finalize. But what I can say for sure is that the powerup system will be more similar to NFS Rivals than Blur....where you pick a loadout before a race and then go in with that (no pickups like Blur). Also there won't be a proper story, but there will be some level of world-building and vibe in terms of rivals with personas who will interact with you during races and campaign. The closest inspirations for these would be Road Rash PC and Midnight Club 2. They don't exactly have a story, but you do have some banter and narrative with your rivals as you progress.

Finally, I'm thrilled to hear you also wanna build a game! What's it gonna be about?

Hey Tuny, I just dropped a major update with completely reworked physics, visuals and audio. Your feedback on the last one was super helpful, would love to hear your thoughts on the new one. The demo has been moved to Steam, where you can try it on PC, Mac or SteamOS (Proton).

(The itch demo has been replaced with a web version of the demo that you can directly play on the browser. This can give players a quick taste without a download/login, but the Steam demo is what reflects the game best)

Hey Djeh, the demo can be downloaded on Steam (PC/Mac/SteamOS). The demo on itch can be played directly on any supported browser, but the downloadable demo is only available on Steam.

I had played SRS a loooooong time ago! Loved the vibes of it, but I could never get into it because I couldn't enjoy the core physics and gameplay. I really wanted to like it for the killer vibes but the driving experience itself kinda disappointed me. Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll still go revisit it for inspiration in terms of style and presentation.

Hey Knijz, thanks a lot for taking the time to play the demo, means a lot to me! Really appreciate all the feedback you've given. There's a new build dropping soon, which addresses a lot of these and brings several other improvements. It doesn't address everything you mentioned, but I'm having a blast with it and hope you will too!

That arrow key quickmenu system is something that I'm still conflicted about. It's inspired by Easydrive in NFS:MW (2012), and I personally love it. I'll still consider your feedback on it and see how I can best work this out.

Thanks a lot for the feedback Tuny, really appreciate it! I'll keep your points in mind, especially when it comes to tuning the physics and the map.

Can you please tell me if you played this on keyboard or gamepad? (The physics/controls should ideally feel good on both, I want to know this info just for my understanding)

You can use the Download Now button right above the comments. Feel free to reach out if you have any trouble with it.
(UPDATE - The download has been shifted to Steam, the itch demo can now be played directly in the browser)

Hello and thanks for your interest, really appreciate it! Networked multiplayer is not currently planned for this game, only local split-screen MP is available currently.

That being said, I'm open to discussing and see what we can do about your specific requirements. You've already DM'd me on Reddit, feel free to continue there.
