I found it tough to do anything past ordering nuggets, because even after ordering them, I didn't see any indication that the nuggets came/my hunger filling after the delivery person showed up. Besides that, sometimes I wasn't able to buy things even if I had more than enough money to buy the items.

I don't know if I'm missing anything or any instructions to properly play the game, but as it stands, I found it difficult to continue past the early game.

Keep making awesome stuff!

This game was pretty sparse in terms of active time playing. The early game is especially rough, since there really isn't much that you can do aside from wait for the fruit to grow. Adding something for the player to do that can speed up the process, or something that promotes active play would have made this a lot better imo. I did really like the theming of the game overall though, keep making awesome stuff!

This is a pretty nice game! I enjoyed figuring out the paths, and if this were to be expanded, having larger levels to consider and traverse through would be a nice addition to play through. Keep making awesome stuff!

As it stands, this seems like a nice starting point for an incremental game, though the game loop present here is fairly short, and I'd want to see more come out of it given more time. On the other hand, the assets look pretty nice! Good work. Keep making awesome stuff!

This was pretty fun (except for when i was losing, but that was still a little fun too)! Getting the strategy to win down was pretty satisfying, and I would want to play an expanded version of this if were out there! Keep making awesome stuff!

I had a difficult time progressing past the first room with the falling Xs. There didn't seem like there was any clear indication as to what I was supposed to do, and at one point, picking any of the paths made me fall through every single time. I hope to see a fixed version of this that allows for more clear progression. Keep making awesome stuff!

Loved the vibe that the project had. I really liked playing through and growing the environment that I started out with. Keep making awesome stuff!

Loved thinking through the ways to expand through the map. Good stuff! Keep making awesome games!

(1 edit)

Really loved the music in this one, including the menu music. This seems like a really well polished project, great job here! Keep making awesome stuff!

I really love the reveal of the second half of the game, it got a laugh out of me lol

This is a really great "meta-game".  I found both parts of the game pretty enjoyable, and I had a ton of fun switching between the two.

On the last expansion, I sometimes ended up with nothing but the background showing up if i pressed the attack button and died at the same time, nothing else seemed to show up (the player, enemies, foreground). This gets fixed if you die by holding right though, so i guess it's fine.

I found this one really cool. Keep making awesome stuff!

Cool stuff!

I thought that the dynamic between how much oxygen you have and how difficult it is to traverse the stages was pretty interesting, though some narrow corridors/turns sometimes make you wait quite a while to actually progress the stage because of it.

Going through some of the dead ends also means an instant restart if you take their path all the way, even if you use the oxygen provided in that path. This kinda made the dead ends functionally useless and feel unfair, since you don't really gain anything aside from "don't go there next time."

The dashing mechanic is also fairly weak, since using it consumes more energy per distance than if you had just moved normally. It's also difficult to see what's ahead of you if you do use it, and it led to me popping the balloon on spikes I didn't see.

That aside, I did have fun playing through the stages.  Keep making awesome stuff.

I meant to ask this earlier, but what kinds of tweaks are you talking about? I'd want to know this kind of feedback in case I come across any similar areas in other projects

Now that you mention it, I suppose that buying plots already increases the theoretical amount of Zibs you can hold, given that most of them can hold multiple Zibs. I guess this would leave the Corrals to be useful for increasing the amount of Zibs that can rest/recharge at once. I really appreciate the feedback!

I fixed this by copying the link to the discord (the one on this jam's page) to a c discord channel, and joining with the discord UI in the message itself.

Essentially all of the links to the godot wild jam server that I've come across so far have all ended up in an invalid invite page. I've never joined the server before, so I don't think it's plausible that I've been banned from it yet or anything like that. Can anyone provide or update me with a link to the server that hosts these jams?
