Awesome game! I love portal so this was a really fun game to play. I watch your YouTube videos, and when I clicked on this game I was pleasantly surprised to see that you made this too. Great job!
Thanks! I almost had it so you could kill the bandits, but only had 3 hours left before the deadline and it was 2 in the morning. I was so tired by that point I left it out, lol. It will definitely be included in the alpha build after the jam!
This is my first gameJam and I really had fun with my game, Caravan. I hope to release an update to expand the game after the jam, but would appreciate any ideas you have for moving my game forward. Nice and relaxing. Simple concept and could be polished up real nice - maybe unlock more rooms, and more ways to take care of your cats with evolving needs... - but still well done as is. When placing the kittens into the boxes, I had to place them a little higher than I though necessary, although if your intention was that you have to drop them in place, then it's fine. Good job!
Nice graphics, and water animation. My only criticism, is that there is no 'hangtime'. Hangtime is where the game allows you to jump for just a few frames after you left the platform. It makes the game a little more forgiving by giving the player those few frames to hit the jump key. Maybe that's not what you want, and that's fine too. Anyway, it was fun. I didn't try multiplayer, but that would seem much more fun to race someone!
Cool concept, graphics were fine (the prototype map overlay is a nice touch). Enemies stopped spawning fairly soon, and I felt that I recieved too much gold for each elimination. Anyways, like I said, cool concept, and I'm sure those problems could be easily fixed after the jam. Good Luck!
Thanks for the feedback! I originally planned on allowing you to crash into the bandits and maybe shoot back at them, but ended up running out of time.
I really enjoyed your game! My biggest criticism is simply that once the floating platforms drop they are gone forever, which makes the level really hard if you make a single mistake. Also, if you stand under a moving platform it can push you through the floor. Aside from that, the game is great and all the different graphics really give your game a great feel!
