Hi everyone!
I would love to get some honest, constructive criticism on my jam submission, No Little Guy Left Behind. You can check it out and please rate my game here:

We put this together in about 8 days. Most of the environment assets are borrowed, but the protagonist, the Little Guys, and the enemies were entirely custom-made during the jam by my awesome teammates.
The Concept: It’s a platformer where your ammo isn't just bullets—it consists of living nature spirits. The main twist is that after you shootthem, they don't magically return to you. You have to physically run into the danger zone and pick them back up to reload.
Future Plans: I have an idea to expand this into a full-scale Metroidvania. I’d love to implement a proper inventory system, a large interconnected map, and introduce many more "Little Guys" with unique special effects and combat abilities.
My question for you: Based on this jam prototype, do you feel the core mechanic is fun and engaging? Do you think I should continue developing this game into a full release?
Any feedback on the gameplay, the feel of the controls, or the boss fight would be massively appreciated. If you enjoy it, please rate my game on the jam page it helps us out a lot!
Thank you so much for your time!
