I've released what I am considering a Pre-Alpha version with working menus and xp/level up system. There are various aspects of the game that are small scale tests of full development, including the skin unlock system and main menu UI. The game is complex, but playable, with many UI indicators and tutorial levels in development. Please read through the description for current keymapping and general information you will need to succeed!

These features will be added to the upcoming release:

  • Planting/defusing indicators
  • Changes/updates to swing hook
  • Changes to movement, removing double jump
  • Simple game menu and options to restart/quit
  • Ammo/xp pickups
  • Handgun alternate secondary
  • New ability selections
  • Ability selection menu
  • Map changes for freerunning lines
  • Freerun game mode
  • Saves, XP level up system
  • Victory/Defeat screens for search and destroy, games consist of best-of multiple matches
  • UI updates

Blink is a tactical shooter with elements of freerunning.

This release is a little rough around the edges, but features endless rounds of a PvE search and destroy game. Be sure to read through the description on the download page before playing.

I'm definatley not trying to pass this as a full game, I'm trying to gage interest in the game style and gameplay from people who haven't been staring at this for two months.

Sorry about the external download, it was larger than the 1GB limit and I felt like tossing this build online as is. There will be continual updates and an official pre-alpha with a lot more features in the next few weeks.

It is a development build, so play with caution on older machines, its fairly intensive.
