Daemian Quintanar Review

First - The game was incredibly well done, the lighting was beautiful and I loved how the developer made different colored keys to correspond with the different colored doors. The game had a very mysterious esthetic which I enjoyed very much. Although the game felt like a maze in some sections. The game was fully completely, I wish could play more of this in the future.

Second - There was no game breaking bugs and every mechanic worked as it was intended to.

Third - There was no lose screen but it did have a win and main menu although they were simplistic I liked them.

The game is a little difficult but well published. It's easy to accidently miss a coin when you are jump towards it. The level design is done well. The only problem I have with the game is that 60 seconds isn't enough time to collect all the coins unless I play perfectly. The menu, lose and win screens also work. After 5 attempts I have finally beat the game. Overall it's a good game with the time limit being a major challenge.

1. Overall impressions about game: The game is surprisingly challenging even though it short. The range of how far the enemies see you made it even more challenging. Love that there was a bigger fly enemy to simulate a boss fight. The level design is also incredible and I like the castle theme that it has.

2. Bugs: Character has a chance to clip into the ground when more than one fly push you towards the ground. Character has a chance to be stuck in the crouch position when you are on the ground.

3. Completion: The main menu, lose and win screens all work well and trigger when they are supposed to. The level is also complete.

Overall impressions: The game was challenging, the level design was fleshed out although a little confusing later in the level. The limited number of jumps and how high you jumped also played a factor in the difficulty of the level.

Bugs: Spikes have larger collision then they should, and you have the ability to stand on enemies if you manage to get on top of them.

Completion: The main menu, lose and win screen work well, and the level was fully complete.

Overall impressions: A medieval theme. It was a little hard with spikes covering most of the stage, and with the addition of precise platforming making it a little hard. Movement speed is a little to fast same with enemy speed, which might lead into some unfair situations where you breeze through large sections of the stage.

Bugs: You can jump almost infinity and with the speed the character is moving at it makes it easy to skip most of the stage.

Completion: Game works well nothing is missing and the main menu, lose and win screens also work without fail.

Overall impression: Very colorful, although it is difficult and challenging but not impossible. Felt like a maze sometimes but once I figured out where to go it became easy.

Bugs: There is a bug that allows you to jump an additional time once you hit a wall, not sure if it is a bug but the lava doesn't instantly kill you.

Completion: The win and lose screen works and the levels are complete, the main menu also works.
