I like the idea, but I think the first screen is a bit overwhelming.

As a new player, I wasn’t immediately sure what I should click first. There is a long “How to Play” section, player numbers, online hosting, join code, local host/join, and it all appears before I’ve even started the game.

I think the menu would be much easier to understand if it had a simple first step, like:

Play / Host Game / Join Game / How to Play

Then the longer rules could be hidden behind the How to Play button instead of being shown immediately.

The game idea may be good, but the first-time experience feels a little confusing right now. I think simplifying the menu would help a lot.

The only thing that felt a bit confusing to me was the menu/UI. I wasn’t always sure what I should click next or where the game wanted me to go.

But the game itself looks promising.

Hi, I’m looking for feedback on a short free demo of my indie taxi simulator.

This is a small demo, not the full city. The demo only covers a small part of the map for now, because I’m focusing on testing whether the no-GPS navigation and taxi job loop actually work.

The game is a taxi work-sim where there is no GPS route line. The player has to read the passenger’s destination, use the street names/map, and find the way through the city.

I’m mainly testing whether the navigation feels fair or confusing.

Estimated playtime: 10–15 minutes

Platform: PC download/ browser play

Feedback method: itch.io comments or replies here are fine

I’d especially like feedback on:

  1. When a passenger gave you a destination, did you usually understand what place you were looking for?
  2. What was the first moment where you felt confused or unsure what to do?
  3. Did the no-GPS idea feel interesting or frustrating?
  4. Would you play a longer version of this?

Thanks for any feedback.

Hi ASWhalerGamer!
I have a short no-GPS taxi simulator demo on itch.io. It takes around 10–15 minutes and has 4 rides.
The main hook is that passengers don’t give you a GPS route line, so you have to use the city map, street names, and landmarks.
It’s YouTube-friendly and free to play.

Thanks for supporting indie devs!
