hi, i'm shakability! i've made some pretty advanced roblox games in the past, but i'm looking into getting in unity development. in decreasing order of proficiency, i can animate, script, compose, and 3d model! i'm going solo and i wish you all the best of luck!

if you guys want any advice on anything, just lmk, and i'll be happy to help! :D

ooh seems interesting i might check it out

additionally, there's no harm in doing things your way! if whatever result you get makes you happy, then so be it. nobody can stop you >:3

😭 what engine could you POSSIBLY be using for it to not be released yet???

here are a few tips ive heard from other game devs btw:

1. don't be afraid of spending a whole day on just planning. a game like minecraft could EASILY be made in under a year, but the reason it took so long to get to the state it is now is because of concepting.

2. do little steps at a time. plan the game. make a basic, bare bones, playable version. add custom assets. slowly add more and more features. if you want add your own things. optimize if you want as well. finally do bug fixing.

3. HAVE FUN! i know everyone says this and it's really corny but you have to believe me. stay relaxed. this may seem competitive, but please remember that the whole point of this and many other game jams is to learn to art of game development. if you even get as far as like, i don't know, starting up a new unity project, I'd still consider that a win.

and yeah those are all my tips 👍

ive dabbled in unity a bit but im trying to get into godot so prolly that
