ambitious game jam submission here! Lighting was great, good art. You were able to actually create some atmosphere here.
Decent narrative.
I think it could have benefitted from some more actual game play segments in it. Perhaps some puzzles or something. But I understand that is probably beyond what is possible in a short jam window.
nice job!
interesting concept! At first I was trying to decipher what the actual "weegee" was saying to see if it was a puzzle game from that perspective, but then finally figured it out where the clues were ;) To the game's credit, I played a few times so thats always a good sign!
Visuals were nice, interesting concept and a solid jam submission!
Definitely would need much more substance here from a puzzling perspective to make it more compelling.
hey nice concept here. Unfortunately I could not figure out what the patterns were for the candles and the letters. I also couldn't see anything change in the map section. It made me wonder if it was still missing something critical for the game to work properly?
I bet if you polished it up a bit more and added some instructions to description it would be pretty good. Good job for submitting!
great idea and very nice art. Unfortunately it seemed buggy. I was in for a full bet and fight, but then at the end I didn't get any prize due to skipping. Also, it would be nice if there was clear bet rounds and then fight rounds. For a single player game, no need to make it not in control of the player.
hey a really good concept here! Unfortunately the UI makes it very hard to play due to the zoom in and selection for each movement. I think just removing that would make the game much more playable and enjoyable.
overall very polished and it looks good. Not sure about balance and mechanics in general though.
great submission! The only thing that I thing should have been played with a bit more is how the placement of graves works, otherwise it seems like you always just put them farthest away from the exit. If there was more to the strategy then that, then I missed it. Perhaps, having the graves automatically placed would make it more challenging? Not sure.
overall cool idea!
