great game because it had me compelled to play it to the end.
The end however... needs some work ;)
Interesting idea to have yourself upgrade your zombie after every time you die. Having more time, speed, more brains and more controls to give your zombie more mobility. That final boss is hilarious! Started off slow and ended up becoming more powerful than before. Nice music and sfx. Good work for incorporating the jam's theme into here.

It reminds me of the Infectonator games. The pixel art is great, the animations are good too and it even has a boss fight. Very good product considering it was made in a jam!
I read about the bug at the boss fight bug so i wasn't expecting to finish it, but, something else happened too. If the boss lands on top of you, the zombie enters the attack state permanetly and you can't move. Something else to take a look at!

Thanks for trying out the game! Really appreciate your comments made, and I noticed that as well! Thankfully I was able to look through and fix those bugs in the game! Very excited to reupload this project once the game jam is up. Once again, thanks so much for trying it out!
There is currently a slight bug for the boss fight / ending phase. Currently it is pulling up the credits prior to beating the boss. This was not intentional, and do apologize for the oversight! I plan on getting it fixed up after the game gym has ended.
