The fact that you're offering this "free forever" justifies the multiple purchases, in my opinon.
Thank you!
Two Three questions:
1. You mention that I use this within my "note taking app", so that would be like Notepad, or (preferably Obsidian)?
2. I would prefer to use DeepSeek instead of ChatGPT, as it's completely free to use.
3. Would this be compatible with the PUM Companion, or is this more of a predecessor of it?
Thank you!
This is looking great! I'm going to be purchasing PUM companion shortly, but I wanted to ask, for this expansion, is there an option to add (lengthy) text description/expansion about each card?
Like, if I'm using a Tarot deck, for example, if I want to attach my own meanings to the cards, I'd like to copy/paste my notes (often multiple paragraphs) from Word/Google Docs to have them available within one place.
Thank you for making this wonderful utility!
I just ran into an issue. I'm updating a Gender table. I originally made it a 1d10 table, but have decided to include diversity into it, and tried to expand it to a 1d100 table. I've manually changed the entries from the following (strike out are fields I removed).
I pressed Update, and then reopened the table. My old values are present instead of my modified values. I've tried this three times now. I've also tried to delete the bottom options and redefine the top options. The list still remains unchanged.
Completely exiting out of the app and restarting it (Windows Desktop version) seems to resolve the issue. My modified changes have been updated.
Is there a way I can tell the software to roll multiple times on a table? For example, one of the tables I have in the book I'm importing declares, "Roll 1d10 for the number of siblings you have. For each sibling (1 through 7) determine their gender (even for female, odd for male.) [Values 8 through 10, and you're considered an only child)
So, I'd make a sub-table of 1d10 and fill in the corresponding values of Male and Female [I could just use a 1d2, but for per the book, they're using d10].
So, say I roll a five. That means I'd have to roll on the Gender table five times. Is there a way to do this, before I suggest a new feature?
I'm not sure if this is possible, however, I could see this being an extra cool thing to have the ability for. Would it be possible to create a Chained Roll. I could see this being especially useful for Random Tables that are used to generate characters or adventures. With the press of a button, (after defining the formulas/tables to roll and link off of), a complete set of rolls would be generated and logged for use to be expanded upon for the later game episode. I find this type of automation could be helpful, especially for the beginning phases of starting a game, with all the characters that need to be generated, and even the adventure start, this would eliminate repetitious rolling,
For example, I'm wanting to play Mekton Zeta, but I have nobody to play it with. I can import the character generation tables into Mythic GME and then roll the series of like eight rolls to build a character, but I have to select each table, it's a slow process right now. I think this software could help streamline this process.
Hi! Just bought your Windows and Android (Expansion) apps, and I gotta say, THANK YOU!!!! I'm only just beginning my exploration within Mythic, however, I wanted to ask, since this is software based on random tables, is it possible to create customized tables with your software? For example, sometimes I want to just have a spontaneous adventure. Roll up some weather conditions. Or because I play primarily within the Shoujo Anime realm, I like to use a lot of Japanese names (often times, I'll combine anywhere between three and six syllables together to create a Japanese sounding name. I could even think of the possibility to using this software as a Writers Block-Breaker by randomly picking a couple of full sentences or phrases to use as Initial Writing Prompts.
Obviously, I'd have to sit down and create these myself, but I was looking around the software and I may have missed the options, but I don't see any way to add or import table data into the App.
Also, a side question: Is the Scenes area where I can input text describing my actions, or is just meant to store a limited amount of notes, and I'd need to use a Blog or something to contain my complete adventures?
Update: I found the area where I can add my own custom tables and stuff! I feel like an idiot! LOL
