Hi everyone! I just released the free demo of Neuroflip, a memory roguelike played with crayon-drawn cards.

The idea
I've always loved memory games, but I hated how they punish you for bad luck. So Neuroflip has one core rule:
- Flipping a card you've never seen is free.
- Forgetting a pair you've already seen costs a life.
You only lose when you forget, never because of a lucky guess you didn't get. On top of that sits a roguelike run: 3 acts of battles, elites, treasures and merchants, ending in a fight against the royal court.
What's in it
- Bosses that bend the rules: the Scribe shuffles cards around, the Lady hides faces under a veil, and the King has three crowns to lose
- Elites with their own twists: the Liar, the Clockmaker, Minefield and Trio
- Drag-and-drop skills that reveal rows, swap cards or peek at the board, plus passives that change the whole run
- Combos up to ×5, 6 card rarities from Iron to Emerald, and special cards like bombs with a fuse, ghosts and jokers
- Crayon storybook art, a psychedelic lounge soundtrack, and 21 languages

I'd love your feedback
This is my first public demo. I'm especially curious about two things:
1. Did the "discovery is free, forgetting costs a life" rule feel fair?
2. Which boss or skill felt too strong or too weak?
Any comment helps, even a short one. And if you enjoy it, a wishlist on Steam means a lot to a small game like this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5372430/Neuroflip/
Thanks for reading! 🃏
